When the sunset and the glow is on point!
It’s crazy to think our business started in 2004 at our local Farmer’s Market because of a dream I had. This led us to making and crafting cool products for pets. Then in 2013, we opened our first retail location in Salmon Creek. This was a 1,237 square foot store which moved in 2016 to a 1,589 square foot space.
People thought we were nuts negotiating leases at the height of Covid, but as entrepreneurs we take calculated risks and look forward to hard work. So in 2021, we opened our 2nd location in Ridgefield, WA.
In May of 2024, we opened our doors at this final re-home of our Salmon Creek store. This 4,000 square foot store is overwhelmingly humbling. We are so grateful for all of our customers that have supported us through this journey. And, grateful for the opportunity to be here in this amazing center at Skyview Station. Being small business owners is not easy and we are not lucky, as some have said. We are a dedicated family and team of super hard workers that have tenacity and grit.
We believe local businesses in the community matter. We believe our customers deserve to be treated with excellence. We know that quality pet products and education make a difference in your pet’s longevity. And, when you shop with us, your money stays local; supporting local families employed by us and besides serving our customers this is our greatest privilege as small business owners.

Hey Salmon Creek customers have you noticed Bishop & Otis haven’t been there lately to greet you? We made the decision to relocate them to our house. It was HARD but necessary. Recently, like many businesses, our store was burglarized in the middle of the night and the cats, especially Otis, was traumatized. These two cats were specifically adopted to be our ‘store cats’ and have lived here for over ten years. The store is all Otis has ever known. Bishop is somewhere between 13-14 years and is beginning to have health issues. Our team decided we just can’t risk something happening to them or losing them if we get burglarized again. So, they’ve been at their new home for one week AND they’re adjusting quite well!! They’ve been spending time watching Cat TV and snuggling each night in Sheltin’s bed. I know everyone is going to miss seeing them at the store. We’re so sorry about that! Please know they are a high priority and they are living well!
