We extend our gratitude to all adopters who have provided a loving home to a new companion during our Empty the Shelters Event, sponsored by BISSELL Pet Foundation and Cathy Bissell, which offers reduced adoption fees for all our furry friends. This event will run until December 17th.

We are pleased to introduce Bentley, the charming Yorkie. As an exceptional companion, he excels in office settings and leisurely trail walks. Bentley's engaging personality has won over our staff and children. Following a successful dental procedure and flawless blood work results, we are eager to share more about him. Please note that Bentley has a minor tendency to think he'd win a fight with a feline and struggles with recall, despite his impressive speed. Today marks an outstanding Friday for us! Cleopatra, our charming lady, has been adopted into her forever home, leaving a lasting impression on numerous hearts. Furthermore, we would like to acknowledge the successful adoptions of Mango, Peanut, Miss Nacho, and Basil, all of whom have found their forever homes over the past week.

Our next Bachelorette is Damsel! Some of you may remember her story of coming in when she was less than a week old and was adopted by one of our foster cat moms! Damsel is now ready for her forever home! The only thing missing from this photo is you!

Giving Tuesday doesn't just have to be monetary donations. It can be giving a pet a home, walking our dogs, or sitting with our cats! Our next Bachelorette is the perfect shade of Hershey brown and will smother you with kisses! Sis has many different names at the shelter because her personality is so divine! Sis loves squeaky toys like you would not believe and is fantastic on a leash! Sis is the perfect companion with most dogs and will play fetch until you can't lift your arm! Recently, a young lady accompanied by her mother visited our animal shelter, intent on adopting a kitten they had become familiar with a few days prior. Unfortunately, the kitten had already been adopted. However, they chose to explore our adult cat selection and quickly formed a strong connection with ShiRoe. Their affection for one another is readily apparent. As we continually emphasize, visiting our shelter and interacting with our cats and kittens directly is crucial in establishing a meaningful connection, which may not be achievable through online photographs alone. Our shelter is open daily from 11 am to 5 pm, except Wednesdays, for those interested in meeting our adoptable friends.

Sis hopes you're enjoying a frozen snack and staying cool! Adopt this lovely lady and you'll have a friend for life! She has great temperament with most dogs and does the cutest little hops when she's happy!

Spooky is the most caring foster dad to the kittens in the Kitten Cabin, but he also wants to advocate for the senior cats and those with disabilities! Cats like him take life slow and are fond of being petted. They know how to use the litter box and their scratching posts. Spooky still loves to climb in the cat trees and enjoy the views but does not have that enthusiastic kitten energy, and he is not here to yuck your yum (you know if kittens are your thing), but he just wanted to give you another viewpoint on cats like him. Or maybe you want the best of both worlds: the crazy kitten energy and a calm senior boy. Can it be any cuter to have him stand and make biscuits on himself?! #seniorcat #adoptme
