Dr. Bossler obtained her DVM from The Ohio State University in 2020, and with a career that has spanned from kennel technician to credentialed veterinary technician to veterinary relief specialist, she brings a wealth of diverse experience to our team.

Her journey through the veterinary landscape has been fueled by a dedicated passion for ophthalmology and an unwavering commitment to client education—core values that resonate deeply with Sentrx, now a part of the Domes Pharma Group.

When she’s not championing animal eye health, Dr. Bossler is an avid traveler with a love for the Scottish Highlands, stays active with weightlifting, and enjoys hiking. She also has two senior cats, Mittens and Spotticus Binx 🐱🐱

Q: What led you to your current role at Sentrx Animal Care?
A: I was lucky enough to start my career at Sentrx 4 years ago through Elwood Staffing and I absolutely loved it. Although back then I worked in the cleanroom. I simply loved the whole process, and the end result was we can put out this medicine that can help an animal get back to health and have a better life. Since I have started my roles have changed but I am still amazed at this company and I’m excited to see and be part of its future. I am now the warehouse lead, and site custodian both positions mean the world to me and I want to excel at them.

Q: What am I most passionate about in my work and how does it motivate me every day?
A: No matter what I am doing I believe in doing it to the best of my ability. I like being able to go home feeling as I have seized every opportunity to do amazing work. I put love and care in everything I do. It helps that I love animals and I want what is best for them and their parents.

Q: Who has been my biggest role model or inspiration in my career? How have they influenced my journey?
A: That would be none other than Bobbie Trujillo the production manager. She is an amazing production manager and handles multiple tasks, problems, situations, she can do this with not just confidence but also with compassion and she inspires me every day. She has influenced my journey by helping me to see that I can do things, that I am capable, and enough.

Meet Emily Behan, our Process Engineering Manager, whose journey at Sentrx began fresh out of college in May 2019. With a degree in Biological Engineering, she quickly made her mark and was promoted to lead bulk production while also lending her expertise to Quality and R&D. Learn more about Emily!

Q: What are you most passionate about in your work, and how does it motivate you every day?
A: I really enjoy being hands-on in the work. It is rewarding to be able to see that my efforts can directly influence the quality of life for companion animals and their owners.

Q: What advice would you give to young women aspiring to work in your field or looking to start a career in animal care and wellness?
A: With Engineering being a traditionally Male dominated field, it is important that women know they have a space and can excel! I would say don’t be afraid to speak up and go for what you want.
