When she’s not caring for the pets, Athena enjoys spending time with her two dogs, diving into a good book, or playing video games. Her favorite part of the day is watching all the dogs excited to come in and play!

✨ Behind the scenes spotlight ✨
Meet Sam! Growing up around dogs, Sam has always had a deep connection with them, which naturally led to a career working with dogs. Starting off as a certified dog trainer, Sam later explored grooming and loved the rewarding one-on-one experience with each dog, though realized more experience was needed.

In August 2021, Sam joined the Utah Dog Park family, and it’s been a perfect fit ever since. Sam often talks about how special UDP is and can’t imagine working anywhere else. While grooming remains a future goal, Sam is thriving in the day-to-day work with the dogs and cats here.

Outside of Utah Dog Park, Sam enjoys spending time with her Border Collie mix, attending dog training classes to master new tricks like dock diving, agility, and AKC Fetch. Sam also loves visiting parks, lakes, and practicing grooming on family dogs.

We love having Sam as a part of our UDP family.

✨Behind the scenes spotlight ✨ Meet Morgan, one of our amazing team members here at Utah Dog Park! Morgan has been passionate about working with dogs since 2022, and we’ve been lucky to have her on our team since March 2023. Growing up with dogs, Morgan’s love for them has only grown stronger over the years, making this the perfect job for her. She even has a Saint Bernard and Border Collie mix named Glacier.

Outside of work, Morgan has a fun and spooky side—she’s been a scare actor during Halloween for the past five years! Her big heart is especially drawn to our senior pups, and she dreams of one day fostering and rescuing senior dogs to make sure they enjoy every moment of their golden years. We’re so grateful to have Morgan on our team!
