What a great girl and cause!

Dear Friends and Family,

I started violin at the age of five and fell in love. Due to my mother’s cancer diagnosis we had to pause all violin lessons until I was ten. When I did begin again, I was playing with 5 and 6 year olds and felt very behind and discouraged. Instead of giving up, I started practicing two hours a day and by age 12 I was practicing four hours a day. I have now advanced past many students my age.

I also knew that my violin dreams would be very expensive, so at 11 I took on a job as a nanny and at 13, I started teaching children in the neighborhood. I have saved every penny and in three years earned $4000 dollars, but still need grace to help reach my goals.

I’ve also committed to never turning down an opportunity to serve through music. This has given me the chance to perform for many congregations, including those of other faiths. This year I started volunteering with GRIT, a program that brings violin lessons and instruments to low-income communities. This service has inspired me to reach out even more.

To achieve my dream of going to a conservatory, I need a college-level violin which will cost around $20,000 and a bow that costs around $10,000. I am doing a fundraiser where for every dollar donated, I will give one minute of my time to teaching underprivileged children the violin. This will equate to 500 hours! Please, consider donating to not only help me reach my dreams, but to give other children the precious opportunity to learn the violin.

Even if you can’t donate, please help me spread the word. Sometimes all it takes is knowing someone who knows someone. I need as much help as I can get if I aim to reach my goal of $30,000. Attached below is my Venmo account. For larger donations please reach out.

🌟 Ready to Make Your Kitchen Work for You? 🌟
🎉 I am nearing the end of a big clean + reorganization in my kitchen! Let me tell you...it feels AMAZING!
It was just NOT working for me! Way too claustrophobic, disorganized, and UNinviting! I LOVE that I can dance in front of my stove!!

If you've ever felt like your kitchen isn’t quite helping you meet your health goals, I’ve got some game-changing tips from Dr. Wayne Scott Anderson that helped me create a kitchen that practically supports my healthy choices.

✨ Here’s what I did and loved:
1️⃣ Out of Sight, Out of Mind: It’s real, friends. I moved any tempting snacks (yes, even the kids' treats!) out of my line of sight. Now, fresh fruits and veggies are front and center. 💪
2️⃣ Set Up a “Hydration Station” 💧: I created a spot specifically for water, so it’s easy to keep refilling. Bonus: my kids are drinking more too!
3️⃣ Prep for Success 🥗: I cleaned out any “mystery leftovers” and reorganized my fridge so healthy choices are easy to grab. Dr. A says, “If it’s easy to access, it’s easy to choose!” I also got proper storage tools so things don't spoil as quickly.
4️⃣ **Add a Positive Reminder **✌️: I keep a note on the pantry door that reminds me why I want to stay on track. Little boosts of motivation can make all the difference!

🤗ok!! I'm getting real with you today because I want you to know that I'm a work in progress! 🤷‍♀️ I've been focusing on my health for years, but I've faced some significant setbacks along the way - pelvic floor issues, mold exposure, depression, and just plain old hard stuff that I know many of us experience. 🤕

But here's the thing: I wouldn't be where I am today without my amazing health coach! 🙌 She's been my rock, my sounding board, and my accountability partner. Having someone to talk through my thoughts and feelings with, someone to offer a fresh perspective, and someone to cheer me on has made all the difference. 🌟 Someone to be my sounding board and friend as new road blocks are met 👉 invaluable.

I'm so grateful for her guidance and support, and I know she has a incredible gift to offer to new clients. 🎁 Because let's be real - trying to do health alone won't get us as far as we think it will. ALONE IS LAME. As the amazing Maya Angelou said:

"Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better." 🙏
