The Nuzzles & Co. Community Clinic is excited to host an Animal Wellness Clinic tomorrow from 1-4pm at our Adoption Center in Kimball Junction! We’re offering low-cost vaccines, microchips, and deworming services, all with a pet exam. To be seen, your pet must be spayed or neutered, or you can secure an appointment with a deposit for a future spay or neuter surgery at our clinic.

Since we're hosting our doggy splash party at PUP TUB Club this Saturday, we thought it'll help to give you a virtual tour, in case you haven't been there before.

Pup Tub has a SLC and a Cottonwood location. You'd want to head to their SLC location: 208 Lucy Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84101

Food and drinks:
Pup Tub Club has a cafe, where they serve coffee, tea, juices, snacks, pastries, and more! PractiPUP will be providing the doggy ice cream with every admission ticket 😃 (we'll publish the ingredients list)

Rules and info:
They have a huge outdoor yard, that is fully gated, and has astroturf. Dogs at this event could run off leash and play with other dogs, but if your tired dog would prefer to take a nap, you can pull up a cot for them, and nap outside, or you could use one of their two sunrooms, or you could even use one of their indoor rooms! https://www.puptub.com/club

Check in:
Once you arrive with your dog, PUP TUB Club will have a sign in sheet for you, where they'll get your dog's vaccination records and medical records, since they ask all dogs over 7 months of age to be spayed or neutered. For our Splash Party on Saturday, we'll have one room dedicated to dog photography 🎉

We're planning to bring some props and accessories to our splash party on Saturday, so you can have your dog take some adorable pictures!!

So far, here's what we have:

I've come across some individuals whose emotional support dogs do certain tasks without ever having any formal training. Their ESA paperwork contradicts their service dog status, which makes it illegal for those ESAs to enter non-pet friendly stores, businesses, and buildings.

Signs of abuse in dogs tends to sometimes show up as generalized anxiety in dogs. When training dogs who have been previously abused, make sure to avoid shock collars, e-collars, and even strict verbal corrections, like a swift "no" because not only are these ineffective in training most dogs, but they especially can make an abused dog shut down. This doesn't mean that abused dogs cannot be trained, it just means that you should work hard to find the right trainer in your area, who clicks with your dog in the right way!

Hi everyone! I was asked to speak at this event on Saturday! It will take place in person, at Utah State Fairpark (SLC), at the Dog Days of Summer event! My presentation will cover Dog Psychology, and as a positive reinforcement trainer, I rely VERY heavily on predicting and analyzing dog behavior.
