By introducing problem-solving activities now, our puppies learn to think through challenges, build confidence, and even pick up skills by watching each other.
When they go home, they might not have littermates showing them the way, but starting this foundation early means they’ll already have the skills to figure things out on their own.
Many of our families enjoy watching their puppy problem solve and it is a great mental stimulation activity for dogs.
A puppy who learns early HOW to learn is set up for success in new environments, making transitions easier and training smoother.
It is also extremely useful when you need to get things done, rainy day can’t play outside, work phone call —let’s entertain puppy for half an hour with a puzzle!
Other dogs can be some of the best teachers so let’s use that to our advantage!

9-10 pm is lights out for puppies since that is most families bed time. I usually have 1-2 hours of work left to do. IG/ Reels, uploading the days videos, emails, cleaning, laundry, setting up tomorrows plans.
I potty them before I head to bed and we start building our overnight sleep schedule.
