Who Is Freddie? (Special Needs) - Adoption Fee $150

🐾 We picked him up from the shelter as a stray, he was a mystery and at the time reactive. His fosters tested his DNA, learned about his breed traits and have been working with Darcy at Dog2Dog training him on obedience. Training has changed his life. Freddie is a healthy and happy boy who is a sweetheart when you get to know him, and have earned his trust!

The training/commands he has learned need to be continued. He will need time to adjust to his new forever family; 3-days, 3-weeks, 3-months being when it typically feels like home for dogs.

💛 About Freddie (when you have earned his trust)
- Mixed breed (small size poodle, long hair chihuahua, sh*tzu etc.)
- Healthy and affectionate
- Blonde long hair (has been receiving haircuts)
- Been through obedience training
- Enjoys “working” with obedience practice
- Super obedient, smart dog
- Wants to play and enjoys fetch, gets along with other dogs
- Loves cuddles on your lap, under blanket
- Strives to have your love, shadow dog
- Follows you everywhere, companion
- Excited to see you! Does his “Freddie dance”
- Enjoys rides, water, the sun and sun tanning
- Enjoys outings to the store and park
- Loves ice (hears ice) sits in front of the fridge to play with it

💛 How to Sustain His Training (Training controls his attitude)
- Managing him and his triggers is the key to his happiness
- Training creates the leadership structure at home that he needs to control negative attitudes
- E-collar* is a tool for good behavior (not worn all of of the time)
- In public e-collar is on, on leash
- When around triggers he has the e-collar on
- E-collar is off at nap and bedtime
- Leash: He needs a leash with any collar, helps guide him. No off leash away from home.
- Grooming: Need to do that at home. He can’t go to the groomer
- Best fit for a single adult, or adult couple, no children
- His current trainer can be contacted to to continue working with you and him

* Shouldn’t use the e-collar without knowing how to use.
