One of our regular customer’s beloved cat, Helper Brother, needs a home by May 10! His current guardians are moving to Australia, where cats are not welcome. They are looking for permanent guardians or someone to foster until they return in August 2025. Helper Brother got his name because in 2021 he helped rescue his injured sibling from an unreachable location and escorted him back to their front porch! Helper Brother is 3.5 years old, 13 pounds, mostly indoor cat, but he loves the outdoors and is harness trained. He’s a well behaved boy and he knows to scratch his scratching posts and not the furniture and he’s never sprayed in their home. He’s neutered, healthy and ready for snuggles. We have 3 small medium tubs and 1 large tub ready to go! Everything is included! We provide shampoo, conditioner, towels, blow dryers, wet and dry brushes and water proof aprons. Come check it out!

An Immediate Full-Time spot is open at the Ma & Paws Bakery in AMERICAN FORK.
In search of the right person with a quirky personality to join our team of awesome humans.

Main duties associated with the Self Serve Dog Wash will be to assist clients and their pets with the tubs and blowers.
Greet clients, prepare the supplies for each client. Educate clients on how to use equipment.
Once clients are finished, the bay will need to be cleaned and prepped for next client. Laundry duties, stocking products for wash bays, etc.

When the dog wash is not busy, this position will also include tasks such as checking clients out at register.
Handle cash and credit payments. Assist in keeping store in a tidy and clean manner. Answer phone.
Be able to lift up to a 30 # bag of dog food. Assist with the weekly delivery of new products. Stock shelves. Price new items.
Loving on dogs that force their humans to shop with us. Educating pet parents on how Food is Medicine.

Our store is a classic retail environment that has really busy times and slow times. There is a bunch of standing and fast paced action at times.
Comfortable shoes and a sunny disposition is needed to get through the day.

Days/Hours Store is open:
Monday-Friday: 10am-6pm
Saturday: 10am-5pm
Sunday: 10am-4pm
Saturdays are mandatory days

Starting Wage: $12-$14
Starting wage based on experience.
Employee Discount. Possible Employee Feed program.
Fixed Schedule.
Review at 90 days. Wage increases are dependent on performance, dependability and proficiency of duties.

Contact your veterinarian. Request a copy of your pet's medical records. Report your concerns to the pet food company and ask your vet to do the same.

*Update as of 1/4/24 - 213 dogs and cats (155 dogs, and 58 cats) sick eating Purina, 57 of which have died.

Since 12/5/23 in the 'Saving Pets One Pet @ A Time' group on Facebook there have been 48 dogs and 3 cats sick eating Purina, 10 of which have died. It seems to be from all different types of Purina, with Purina Pro Plan being the most common. If you or someone you know is feeding this food, I would stop immediately! Do NOT wait until your pet gets sick or Purina issues a recall.

Purina has already been notified by numerous pet owners and they have not done anything to alert unsuspecting pet parents. Initially, there were offering to reimburse the pet owners for their pet food. Currently, they are offering pet parents $10 in coupons (which is what Hills offered me for my dead dog) and having a third party contact the pet parents.

Eventually, we may see Purina pet food become “unavailable” on the store shelves. This is called a silent recall. The pet food manufacturer doesn’t want to admit there is a problem with the product, so they start pulling the products off the shelves quietly. (Hills did this for 60 days before the recall)."

I wasn't paying attention this morning to the early broadcast of ABC4 News....but I do have a picture of the pizza we made 🥰

It was wicked fun having ABC4 Utah pop out and spend time with our Millcreek crew yesterday in preperation of celebrating National Puppy Day.

Their photojournalist, Tracy, was incredibly nice and made us feel at ease in front of the camera. Allowed us to show off all the fun stuff we have available to spoil your furbabies.

The story behind the acquisition of the Ducks (and Geese when they come into season). I know 2 avid hunters that do not want their bounties to go to waste. I asked them to drop them off to me and I would find them good homes.

Don't let me down raw feeders and raw treaters...come and get 'em. Honor these duck lives by nourishing your furbabies.
