Started this piece in December of 2023, and finally got it done. 😂🤣😂

Let's see, the star is made of Walnut & Purple Heart, the "rays" are Aromatic Cedar, the empty space is Maple, and the outer trim is Purple Heart. I finished it in a Natural Polyurethane, that leaves the wood with the appearance of having no coating on it at all. So damn pretty!

Hi Y'All! It's been a minute since we've posted. We are still here, and still building stuff, just not posting as often.
The beautiful Knotty Alder base is heading out to Ross & the guys at . Excited to see the monster Alaskan Moose on top of it.

I made a late night decision (945p) to come out and drive a few roads this morning. Found a nice ridge to climb that led me to a canyon that was thick with cedar trees... I hate hunting cedars. Lol
On my way out of a canyon, I saw movement in some sparse cedars. I pulled over and got out to look. i saw him bed down 10 yards later, which gave me a better chance to look. About 10 min & 250 yards later, he didn't move from his bed. There is nothing quite like the THUD of a 6.5 Creedmoor smacking it's target.

I guess hunting cedars ain't so bad after all.

Did a quick little retro-fit job for a childhood friend of ours. Took the shelves out of these 2 cabinets, and put 4 roll-out drawers in. This is a fantastic way to make your base cabinets a little more accessible.

Sending a set of twin Pyramids out to Jeremy & the team at Judkins Taxidermy. These ones are Clear Alder, with our dark stain. There is something neat about a pyramid style pedestal.

We got this gorgeous Knotty Alder pedestal blasted out for . The Birch Bark Panels absolutely POP against the dark stained Alder. This is going to be a perfect piece for his Lynx to rest on.

Nothing quite like a little trip to DisneyWorld to wear you out, but also recharge the soul. The mouse holds a special place in my heart... and thankfully was more than willing to endure the chaos this time.
