It just dawned on me that I haven't posted any pix of the stuff I've been cranking out. This time of year is always chaos... But I love it!
To my customers, I appreciate you all! I truly appreciate your patience.
These are a trip, and a whole lot of fun to make. 15 min here, 15 min there during breaks at my day job... Long process. But I'm damn satisfied with the results. 2 coats of mineral oil at this point, now just need some conditioner thrown on them.
Most pieces like this show the end grain of the wood... I wanted to showcase the beauty of the actual faces of the material.
The 2 "Q Bert" boards are Hickory, Mahogany & Curly Maple, with a Walnut Trim.
The squares is Mahogany, Aromatic Cedar & Curly Maple, with a Walnut trim.
The star is Hickory, Mahogany, Curly Maple & Walnut, with a Walnut trim.
So check this out... I wanted a hoodie of one of my fave bands, . So I hit my buddy up to see if he still had any screens left for his machine... BAM!!! Sure Does! Check out to see what else he does.
Not gonna lie, I fuggin miss this band.
He was even nice enough to throw in some extra swag from way back when.
Thanks, Brent! You are a badass!
Finally got the pulls & coat hooks installed on this project. Needless to say, our customer loves it.
Sometimes I take on huge projects that try my patience, but turn out beautifully.
What was initially going to be a 5 week timeline turned in to an "Oh S**t!" 2 weeks less timeline. It is still missing handles and coat hooks, but is mostly complete.
The grain-matched Walnut Doors against the bright white open cabinets really give this Mud Room unit an awesome touch.
Here's a fun little piece that I slapped together out of some scrap pieces of Walnut Veneers. It was a test to see how big of a pain in the ass my next "down time" project will be.
I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Last visit to this church for the season.
We got these 3 reclaimed lumber bases blasted out for Jeremy & the crew at . All three are going to be Fur-ever home for elk. Can't wait to see them all done!
Knotty Alder, with Black Panels... WTH!? This is another first for us. I gotta say, this is a killer combination.
This is going to be a neat piece when the Sable is put on top of it. We can't wait to see how does it.
Here's a combination you don't see every day. Knotty Alder, painted bright white, with reclaimed lumber panels.
This one is headed down south to . We can't wait to see this one all put together.
Quick little install at 's work. Looks like a drum riser... Too bad it's not a drum riser! Lol
Mowing the back yard today, and I found this dude in a bad spot. So I moved him to some overgrown sunflowers, and he seemed content. Went back 5 min later, and he'd found d a wasp to snack on. Praying Mantis' are so damn pretty.
Hanging at The Bees game tonight with my beautiful . The Bees won, we had hot dogs & fireworks... Pretty amazing night.
Gotta give a shout out to for the badass "Down With The Clown" shirt.
What up, everyone!? We've got a few pedestals that we made, and are trying to get under some beautiful mounts.
The 2 open Pyramids are 36" tall, 20ish" base, 10ish" top. $425 ea
The 5 (only 3 pictured) square are 10" x 10" x 32" tall. $300 ea
All are Walnut, with a light stain & a high quality cabinet grade finish.
You know you want one, so come n get it!
I am an absolute wood NERD. As I was dismantling this panel to finish yesterdays project, the 2 sticks to the left of the gap caught my eye. Those 2 boards were (at one time) the same tree as it went to the milling process. Through the saw and kiln process, they stayed side by side. Then in to packaging, they stayed together. Then after that, whoever installed them on the fence, installed them right next to each other, as if it was meant to be.
I don't know what the odds of this happening is... But I'm guessing it's pretty damn improbable.
If this can happen, then damnit, YOU can make it thru whatever is troubling you.
Here's a fun pedestal we put together for Derek at . It's gonna have a badass Turkey on it. This is gonna be fun.
Fun little nightstand we blasted out thus past week. Like many people, this one definitely photographs better at an angle, than straight on.
BTW... Black paint is kind of a pain in the ass.
I got to see God today.
I dunno what to say about the mighty . The last time I saw them was 1998, opening for Anthrax & Pantera, and they absolutely destroyed Saltair that night. Last night, they kicked some major ass at Usana. It was so good to hear these songs live again.
It was also super awesome to see that uses and abuses the same that I use. Always good to see Killin in on stage as well.
*** FOR SALE ***
Check these bad boys out! I was originally going to run them out to a few taxidermists shops to show on opening weekend. But most said they'd rather just have pix to show... So now these are for sale!

A while back, I started working on these two pedestals. One was supposed to be for the Pronghorn that I was going to draw (wishful thinking). Well, due to orders coming in, I had to stop working on them. But now they're done, and ready for your trophy to be on top of them.
They are perfect for a killer Muley Buck, Pronghorn, Whitetail... Anything in that size range.
These are Rustic Walnut, 36" tall, with a 20" base, and 10" top.
Asking $450.
Pic #5 is an example of what your trophy could look like on top if one of these beauties.
Crazy to think that these were 3 of the first pedestals that were produced by DKWW, Back in July 2017. What a long strange trip its been.
Good Luck to everyone that was fortunate enough to draw a tag!
It's almost time to start flingin arrows!
Which means... It is hopefully almost time to visit your favorite taxidermist. If you're fortunate enough to harvest a trophy worthy of the wall, maybe he would look amazing on one of our pedestals. Hit me up if you're interested!
I will actually have 2 of the Walnut Pyramids (like pic #2) ready to go next week...
Sent this nice Alder Pedestal out the door today. Once again, our signature dark stain looks pretty on Alder. This one is going to look awesome sitting under a nice bull elk.
We haven't done a lot of reclaimed lumber pedestals over the past year. Here is one we recently finished. This one is going to look pretty awesome with a Black Bear on top of it.
