Our first row of dog kennels are now open again, and we have 10 to 14 wonderful dogs, all cleared by our veterinarian, ready for adoption! Please join us tomorrow from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM to meet your new furry best friend.

A few of the lucky pups that recently went on a Hounds Around Town field trip!

The volunteers had this to say:
"Freya is such a sweet girl! Despite being a little nervous, she seemed to enjoy going for a walk at Wheeler. She’s also very affectionate and loved getting pets! She’ll lick your face or hands, too. She’s a very good dog, and very soft! "

"Sitka was great! She is a very sweet and playful girl. She did great on leash, loves to smell around and she loves to eat the snow/ice. She is super playful and gets annoyed when the leash interrupts her zoomies. She loves treats and is happy to show you her tricks if you keep them coming. When you sit down she barrel rolls into your lap for a quick belly scratch, then she is on her way. "

"Rosita is one beautiful, sweet, smart, velvety pittie lady. She was a little preoccupied on our outing at first, but the great thing about Rosita is that she is looking for reassurance and guidance from her human! She loves food, pup cups, learning things, !SQUIRRELS! and also sunshine which we got none of on our outing ergo no smiles from Rosita. We’ll try again soon under better conditions girlfriend!"

You're invited to a special event for Mari Jane this Saturday night, hosted by her incredible foster mom, volunteers and Roxy, the owner of Easy Does It! This event was created for a fun evening for pet adopters, supporters and volunteers to connect and mingle, all while supporting some local vendors.
