Next up is our inimitable Co-Medical Director, Dr. Bagley! 🌟

Dr. Bagley grew up on a farm in southern Utah, where his love for animals began. He earned his degree in Zoology and Chemistry at Southern Utah University before graduating from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2002. After practicing in Heber City for a year, he joined VCA Cottonwood Animal Hospital in 2003.

Dr. Bagley enjoys working with both dogs and cats, with special interests in fracture repair, spinal surgery, TPLOs, TPOs, and various orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. 🐾

Outside of work, Dr. Bagley loves spending time with his wife, Trisha, and their four children. Whether it’s attending their kids’ sporting events, heading to the farm, skiing in the winter, or taking summer trips to Lake Powell and Fish Lake, family time is his top priority. Their family also just added two adorable red heeler puppies to the crew! 🐶❤️

Dr. Bagley brings so much heart to our hospital and staff. His playful energy and dedication make even the tough days brighter. We’re so lucky to have him leading our team! 🙌

Meet our doctors!

First up is our incredible Co-Medical Director, Dr. Cox! 🌟

Originally from a small farm in Salem, Utah, Dr. Cox earned his bachelor’s degree in zoology at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. He then attended veterinary school at Washington State University. After graduating, he began his journey with VCA Cottonwood Animal Hospital and has served as our Medical Director since 2012.

Dr. Cox has a special interest in ultrasound and surgery, and he brings expert care to every patient. Outside of work, he’s a proud husband and father to three beautiful girls and one charming son. His family also includes two amazing dogs who love to join in his outdoor adventures!🐾

When he’s not caring for animals, Dr. Cox loves camping, hiking, fishing, and spending quality time with his family.

We are so lucky to have Dr. Cox leading our team! 🙌
