SLOW DRINKS with Bitters Lab
Slow Food Utah invites you to a delicious and educational event hosted by Snail of Approval Awardee, Bitters Lab. This class will focus on creating two classic cocktails featuring a selection of fine spirits from local favorites, Beehive Distilling and Waterpocket Distillery. Another Snail of Approval Awardee, Tyler Montague with Keep it Real Vegetables, will join the fun. After all, his farmβs rhubarb and carrots are key ingredients in the eveningβs concoctions.
Bites will be provided by Maven Oak Creative. And you guessed it, yet another Snail of Approval Awardee, Beehive Cheese, will be prominently featured on the nosh boards. Class size is limited to 12 persons. So, if you want to conjure some boozy spirits with us, do not delay.
About Bitters Lab:
Andrea Latimer started experimenting with bitters in the basement of her home in 2008, driven by a desire for real ingredient-based flavorings and an obsession with hand-crafted cocktails. From there she launched Bitters Lab in 2015 and began selling her artisan bitters at farmers markets and local stores. Her products feature locally grown produce and she is dedicated to partnering with small businesses, nonprofits and farms, giving back to the community 5% of her profits every year. There are currently more than 15 bitters flavors available and Andrea changes the line-up seasonally with fresh offerings featuring local flavors and spirits.
