Hiya, folks.

It's warm out, and rattlesnakes love the heat. They also love to eat your pets. Please keep aware of rattlesnakes during this warm period, and be sure to give us a ring if you suspect that your pet has had a tussle with a rattlesnake. If we catch it in time, we can give your pet anti-venin and help them survive the attack.

(209) 754 5123. Call immediately if you suspect a snake bite, and we'll get you in same day.

Trauma cases are rolling in now that the weather is warm. Do not wait until the last minute to schedule a sick pet. It may take 1-2 days to get a spot in our busy schedule. Keep the dogs on a leash! Good luck with your summer adventures.

Hiya, everyone!

Kitten season is again upon us. Please remember, if you find kittens that are in an otherwise safe location and Momma cat isn't around - LEAVE THEM BE for about 6 hours to see if Momma comes back before rounding them up.

Momma cats leave the nest for all sorts of reasons, and they won't thank you for stealing their babies while they were out performing Momma cat business.

If the babies are, say, in the middle of the highway, of course take immediate action if it's safe for you to do so. Momma cats are usually pretty savvy about leaving babies unattended in safe spots, so if they're in a super dangerous spot, something bad has probably happened to Momma cat.

For more information about how to handle unattended kittens, please feel free to give us a call at (209) 754 5123.

Hiya, everyone!

We've recently had our business manager, Carl, getting back to folk who've left voice messages.

We've received a surprising amount of confused and even angry feedback about this change, so we wanted to make sure everyone knows - if 'Carl' calls you back, it's really, really, *really* us, and not someone impersonating us to get your sensitive data. He's just trying to help while we get back to full strength.

Here's hoping we can get some new recruits in here soon so he can get back to running the business.

Hiya, everyone.

We've recently lost a staff member, and are trying very, very hard to replace her, but with little success.

As such, we're stretched pretty thin, and we know that you guys are not able to get to us via the telephone very easily. We apologize; hopefully we'll be able to get someone in and get back to the phones sooner than later.

In the meantime - if you're having trouble getting to us via the telephone, you can also reach our harried and overworked business manager via email at [email protected]. He might be a little gruff, but he'll get you on the calendar.

Our email is checked two to three times a day, so it may be worth a shot if you're having no luck on the phone. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. Keep your fingers crossed for us as we navigate our staffing issue.
