🌟 Six Minutes with Axel 🌟
This evening was Axel's very first session with us, and I wanted to share some clips that highlight his impressive progress!
While other trainers might have hesitated to enter the house due to Axel's demeanor, we not only addressed his behavior, but also dove into leash training, worked on obedience, and had a lot of fun in the process.
It was an incredibly productive hour, and I'm so proud of what we accomplished together. If you have a "difficult" dog, remember—change is possible! Let's embark on this journey together.
Great job Kyndall & Axel 💪🏽🐾

Neveah's very first leash training session with Luna! Neveah gives a really nice correction with the leash right in the beginning of this video. A leash pop is just a simple flick of your wrist in a quick smooth back motion. It's not a pull. Pulling the dog back isn't the goal. The goal of a leash pop is to get your dog's attention and communicate with them to slow down. Ideally you don't want to have tension on the leash when you do it.
"Sniff" is the command or release word/cue that Naveah has chosen to let Luna know it's ok to wonder about and take a break. Very nice first session. Both these ladies did great.
Nala, a spirited dog with a high prey drive, takes center stage. Today marks a significant milestone as she steps outside her yard for the first time, ready to learn how to navigate the world with her e-collar. Her owners, committed to helping her manage her reactivity towards other dogs and distractions, have chosen this path to grant her both freedom and guidance.
As the session begins, Nala exhibits her usual curiosity, her eyes darting toward every rustle and movement. With the e-collar securely in place, her owners patiently guide her, reinforcing the importance of the “Come” command. Each successful response is met with praise, turning what could be a daunting experience into a rewarding one.
The progression clips capture the essence of their journey—Nala’s initial struggles transforming into moments of triumph. It’s not just about obedience; it’s about building trust and understanding. Training with the e-collar allows for immediate feedback, helping her learn that the command is serious, even amidst tempting distractions.
As the day unfolds, laughter mingles with focused training, highlighting the balance between seriousness and playfulness essential for both dog and owner. Nala thrives in this environment, growing more confident with each successful command. Today, she learns that there’s joy in obedience and freedom in understanding.
In the end, this training session is a testament to the bond between Nala and her owners. With patience, consistency, and a sprinkle of fun, they’re paving the way for a happy and obedient dog, ready to explore the world with newfound confidence.
Thanks to the cold weather, our indoor classes have opened up a whole other way to learn with a classic classroom environment that allows the owner the ability to retain and process information before applying to their dog. It would be unfair to those who pay for these classes to post and share them in their entirety. However, here is a sampling of Felicia bringing a bit of a comedic spin to the learning table.

April and I would like to take a moment to extend our sincerest gratitude to each and every one of you who donated to Teddy's GoFundMe.
We feel incredibly blessed to have formed not just a wonderful working relationship with Concho Valley PAWS , but a genuine friendship as well. They played a crucial role in helping us with Teddy's medical expenses, and in his name,
thanks to your generous donations, we've been able to give back to PAWS to assist other pets in need. It's a small way to honor Teddy, who, while never a shelter dog himself, had many family members and friends who were. 🧸❤️

🌟🐾 Meet Triumph, our lovable Bully mix who April rescued as a puppy! Each of our furry friends comes with their own unique temperament, and Triumph is no exception. He's a big baby with low drive (energy), which presented some challenges when it came to training him.
What’s truly amazing is his ability to learn and maintain a high level of obedience, despite his laid-back nature. This just goes to show that with patience, understanding, and consistent training, you can unlock the potential in any dog—regardless of breed, age, or temperament.
So, take the time to find what works best for your pup, stick with the training, and watch the magic happen! 🐶✨ No matter the challenges, I promise you'll see results! 🎓
