Another late night intake. These poor babies were attacked by a cat and are in critical condition! We have stabilized them for now and will have to see how they do through the night. We named them FuFu and LuLu. Unfortunately FuFu got the brunt of it. She has a major laceration and a badly broken back leg. Right now we focus on the external wounds but in the future she will need a splint and possible surgery.
Update for everyone.
The baby bun did not make it through the night 😔 but they were not in pain and they were warm and loved.

Everyone meet ginger! He came to us today after falling from his nest from the wind. Sadly he's very skinny and got a bloody nose a few hours after intake. Likely internal injuries. Please send best wishes for ginger 🙏🏼

Today's intakes! We have 1 roof rats come in due to poisoning And 5 baby squirrels that fell from trees due to high wind. Everyone is safe and stable for the time being ❤️ We are expecting more calls tomorrow with the weather staying the way it is.

Hi everyone! I hope yall are all safe after the storm last night. Please be on the look out for any injured or misplaced baby wildlife. The strong wind and rain can cause a huge disruption to nature. If you find a baby wildlife please call or text 541-514-1773 and do not offer any food or water. You can carefully place them in a box and place the box on a heat mat. Thank you everyone! Yall are our first line of defense!

Exciting news!!!! Everyone remember Fred? Our sweet girl got her lip torn in a trap and has been with us in rehab. She is now fully healed! But she surprised ur yesterday!
SHES PREGNANT 🎉🥳🎉
The babies are about the size of a mandarin orange slice right now and growing well in the safetyof her pouch! She's a wonderful mother. We have decided to keep her with us till her babies are all ready to be on their own so we can assure that they all make it and are healthy! Stay tuned for this mommas journey!

Ralphie gave me the biggest joy today! He officially opened one eye during feeding and he's already looking around and getting more active!
Most mammals are born with their eyes closed as they take longer to develop after birth. It is very important not to force their eyes open if you find a baby animal as it can damage them!

Everyone meet peace and love. They were reliquished yesterday due to sad circumstances, they are still very loved and their momma will come visit them at our sanctuary ❤️
