𝟒 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐒𝐔𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐓:

1. The way the headstall attaches to a ring on the shank, not the top of the shank itself, it doesn’t apply as much poll pressure. This headstall attachment lets the chin strap engage, and then the mouthpiece on the horse’s bars and lips engage. Last, but not least, the nose piece helps bring the horses face around. There’s a lot of release in this bit which horses love.

2. It has lift through the shank independently of poll pressure.

3. Because of the headstall attaching to the ring on the shank, it allows the chin strap to engage sooner without pull pressure from the top and lip pressure from the bottom at the same time.

4. The nose peace is the last pressure to engage, and that is usually on the backside of the turn or when you ask for the horses nose to come around.
