Went to the doctor yesterday and the results were what I expected. Fractured T9. She did not recommend surgery because she was afraid if she cemented 9 then 8 and 10 would break down. Treatment is rehab to build up muscles in lower back and no lifting over 15 lbs and no twisting or turning. She advised not to work for 2 months but I probably will try to work a few days a week on my smaller dogs. Most of my dogs don’t weigh 15 lbs. I have decided to try to lease the trailer to another groomer 4 days a week! Don’t want to take on an employee. Will be looking into leasing it out!

The trailer is parked for now! I think I really messed up this time! My back has been an issue the last few days! Dr. scheduled 2 MRIs tomorrow. Hopefully this will be an easy fix. For now I’m temporarily off work again! Let’s hope it doesn’t require surgery! Sorry to inconvenience my customers again!

Been a rough7 days! I started having a little pain when breathing last Thursday. It continued to get worse as the week progressed. By Sunday I was in pain! Thought I had Pleurisy so went to Shannon South Minor ER. PA diagnosed a muscle strain! So Tuesday I decided to go to Chiropractor. My usual Dr was not there so got a new man. He proceeded to adjust my back and then he manipulated my back. And started pressing on my spine. Then he roughly massaged the area with the muscle strain! I thought I was gonna die! Wednesday I was in terrible pain and muscle relaxers were not helping. My face and finger tips started feeling numb so I decided to go to Shannon ER. Well I went from muscle strain to fractured T9 and remote bilateral rib fractures! At the ER they noted my back was bruised! I have not fallen the only way all of this could have happened was from the aggressive Chiropractor! Calling Pain management tomorrow to try to get a game plan so I can get back to work as soon as possible! I swear if it can happen it happens to me! I no longer support Chiropractic Care for Seniors!
