Dear Friends, the time has come for Kelley to retire, as a matter of fact, I will be rolling out of Texas on Sunday morning 2 July 2023. 🥲 I'm heading back to my home state of Georgia and will live near my sister and brother-in-law. The good news is the kennel has not closed and new management and owners, along with most of the current amazing staff are going to improve the facility and continue to provide excellent care for your fur babies. The new name will be "The Canine Resort and Daycare". Phone number is the same. 325-651-6223.

As some of you know my husband Ray passed away 3 years ago, it became increasing difficult to try and maintain the kennel, property, and all the other behind the scenes task associated with running an operation of this magnitude. I will quote my dear friend Jim Jackson, "I'm O.U.T." (Old, Ugly, & Tired) The new owners are young, enthusiastic, and energized.

Over the past 17 years I have met the most wonderful and caring people who have become friends. But more over, the dogs that have passed through our doors have become a part of my heart. I am thankful for each and every one of you all. I thank you from every inch of my soul! (I'm not crying)

Happy New Year Friends! All of us dog lovers are saddened by the loss of Betty White, in honor of her birthday on the 17th of January, Kelley's Kennel will be donating $5.00 to Concho Valley Paws for every dog that stays with us over the weekend of 14 - 17 January. :) (If we have 50 dogs for the weekend, we'll donate $250.00 in Betty Whites name)

27 - 30 Dec: 8-5:30 (Limited Daycare)
New Years Eve: 8-12
New Years Day: Closed
2 Jan: 8-12

Keep in mind we will be caring for your fur baby throughout the Holiday Season, even when are closed for pick up. Please stay safe and healthy and hug your loved ones!

This is our sweet friend "Dora"! She will be 14 years young tomorrow. Her Mom dressed her for the occasion, brought treats for all the doggies, and humans. Have a fantastic day friends 💖

Dear Friends :) We have been blessed to be so busy, and of late our weekends have been completely booked. That being said, daycare on Friday (for now) is not possible. In many cases our weekend guest are going home on Monday; therefore, please call to make sure we have a space on Monday as well. Because of the crazy Texas weather, we have to have a spot for your pet in the event of storms, and keep them out of the heat! Our number priority is keeping all of our guest safe.🐾

Update from the tundra! 🥶 So far the only water break we have is at the well. (We only use well water to clean and hose kennels) We have water; however, doing what we can to conserve. Our current guest are still drinking bottled water. Heat is working great now that we have power, and it's a magnificent 64 degrees. Still have a glacier on the north side and in our yard for little dogs. Assuming we return to "normal" on Monday, we can take your fur babies for day care and boarding. To say the least it's been a challenge, but a huge shout out to Sara and Marianne for working every single day. 🥰🐾🥰

Good Morning Friends! At least we have off/on power. However, just like everyone in San Angelo, we do not have any water. Thank goodness some of our customers have delivered water so our dogs have something to drink. (5 gallons of snow = about a quart of water) :) In the mean time, we cannot take in any dogs until this crisis is over. All of our guest are nice and warm; however, due to the anticipated power outages we moved all dogs in our kennel where we keep old dogs and little dogs. Because of the power issues reaching our kennel number will not work...if you need to reach us, call my cell, 325-374-3073. We are open, but cannot take any dogs today. Stay off the roads if possible. Thank you friends...🐾🥶

Hi Friends! All is well during this crazy cold, all of our guest are nice and warm...kennels are holding steady at 70 degrees...Our friends at Bowles Heating and Cooling made multiple trips to insure our heat is running perfect! Little dogs are bored and have been cheating at Pictionary, (there's a limit on drawing dog paws) :) Everyone is safe and warm... Stay safe ya'll

Hi Everyone! It's "Groundhog" day, and the month of Love. Without a doubt this has been a difficult year for most everyone. Me, and our staff want each of you to know how much we appreciate and love you, and your doggies! That being said, we are offering free baths this month. Just call for an appointment.
