Here’s a check list of things you can do this week before the fireworks get rolling. 4th of July weekend is the peak for anxious dogs & missing pets.

🎆 order trazadone
🎆 update microchip information
🎆 find collars and rabies tags
🎆 call your veterinarian clinic to confirm you and your pets info is correct
🎆 make sure your backyard is “escape” proof or that you have a space in your house that’s comfortable for your pet.

Anxious and scared pets will try to run away from the sounds, dig into the carpet or destroy doors.

Here’s a friendly reminder to bring your pets inside. Extended periods outside with our current heat can cause life threatening issues.

Dogs & Cats need access to fresh water, shade and air flow. Dogs that are brachycephalic, old, obese, or thick coated are at an increased risk of heat exhaustion.

Very sweet intact male found in Grape Creek. He recently had a surgery done on his nose. He has a microchip that has been unregistered.

We have sent microchip info and pictures to all the clinics in town.
