2 mamas and 8 babies 🥹

***These guys won’t be available until around mid July but that gives you plenty of time to get ready to bring one home!***

Both mamas were unspayed(obviously) and abandoned. The grey & white kitty birthed 2 kittens (but took on nursing for 3 orphans that were abandoned without their mom so she has 5 babies now) and the tiger mama gave birth to 3 kittens.
Someone reached out asking me to help them before they were all killed and I couldn’t say no. So I went to my lifesaver Madeline who is in Massachusetts and also couldn’t say no ❤️

1 grey kitten
1 grey tiger kitten (has more white)
1 black & white kitten
1 calico kitten
1 grey tiger kitten
2 orange kittens
1 all white kitten

If interested please keep checking As Sweet As A Peach Animal Rescue for their official post about them.

Both mamas are very sweet and well mannered and will need a home as well🥰

We are asking for donations towards their vet care as well.

Hello everyone! Just giving a update

The 2 puppies we were able to catch are being called Max & Skye! The foster family named them and can I just say how AMAZING this family is!!
They opened their home to these 2 little rugrats last minute , and have just been a blessing. This family is made up of a mom & dad and their 3 young kids who absolutely adore these puppies.

We made a appointment for the babies for next Wednesday 3/15.
In the meantime, the foster family is helping socialize the pups, since they were outside their whole life. We guesstimate they’re about 7 weeks old.

If you’d like to donate towards their vet care, the PayPal is

If you’d like to donate in any other way (toys, collars, food) please DM me and I’ll send the link!

Thank you guys! Enjoy these pics of Max & Skye

16 puppies and adults being sent from Texas to Connecticut thanks to our help

Hi everyone!
I recently met a 72 year old lady that has heart disease and many other health issues. For the last 5+ years, she has taken dogs in off the street and loved them / found homes for them. Her and her husband were known for this and people would tie their dogs to her fence and she’d keep them.

Well, her husband passed away 2 years ago. So she lives alone and her dog count is now up to 22.
I am working with a rescue in New England to transport 16 of them up north in the coming weeks 🙏🏼
The other 6, she really wants to keep as they’re all 12+ years old.
Unfortunately, she lives off of her SSI which isn’t a lot each month. She buys a bunch of dog food and told me after all of that, and her other bills (insurance, utilities) she sees what is left so she can get herself some food for the month.

Today, I ordered her about $100 of groceries as a surprise so she can go a month without worrying about what she’ll eat.

She loves her dogs so much , and i think she would be beyond thrilled to get them new dog beds, sweaters etc.

There is a gofund me set up as well as a Amazon wish list.
Thank you

Through the donations, we donated food/toys/treats to 2 pups in foster homes, to help take the burden off of the rescue supporting them.
We also have been transporting pups for rescues here in SA to foster homes. Without this, they’d be in ACS and would be euthanized. Rescues can’t pull dogs from ACS without fosters lined up. And 90% of the time need people to transport from ACS to wherever they’ll be staying (which is where we come in!)

I just wanted to give you guys a quick update. The money and essential items y’all donated have helped SOOO many dogs and will continue helping them.

We still plan on obtaining the 501(c)(3) status so we can pull dogs ourselves and transport north. Don’t think we aren’t! Just a lot of time / money and planning that has to go into it. It’s not a quick overnight thing.

Thank you 🐾

On my way home from the pet store today, I noticed this on the side of the road.
Mind you, this is a 65mph back road in Texas, with farms every couple of miles. Not just houses back to Back like a normal street

It makes me wonder if someone dumped this with a dog 😔

This is why we need to help them. Let’s be their voice!

Meet Tito!
He is a 2(ish) year old pit mix that has been with animal control for almost a month. They are guessing he was used as a bait dog for illegal dog fighting (noticed wounds). What you can’t see is his leg, which is also cut up really bad.

We are helping another rescue by transporting him to a foster. He is out of ACS and in a temporary home🤞🏼

If you’d like to donate, I attached our GoFund Me. The money will be used to continue his vet treatment.

$156… one hundred fifty six dollars. That’s how much it would have cost Bella’s family to allow her to pass with dignity, surrounded by those she knew and gave the best 15 years of her life to.

Yesterday, when picking up Gizmo and taking him to foster, one of our board members witnessed Bella’s family dropping her off at ACS. Unsettled by the fact that this poor senior, who had to be physically carried from the car to kennel, would spend her last moments in a scary shelter, we reached out to tag her for rescue. She was brought to campus by her former owners who noted that she had been rapidly declining over the past 4 days: lack of appetite, unresponsive, incontinence and bloody diarrhea. They could have spent $156 to have her humanely euthanized, calm and comfortable in their arms, and left with a ceramic paw print. Instead, they dropped her off at the shelter to be euthanized alone, scared and confused surrounded by barking dogs.

That. Is. Not. Ok.

Read it again: THAT. IS. NOT. OK.

It will never be ok but today, two of our volunteers picked Bella up, took her for french fries and a pup cup and held her. They told her how much they loved her as she peacefully passed away at 4pm.

Folks, we understand things happen. Bella’s family did not seek medical attention for their sweet senior. Times are tough and maybe they couldn’t afford significant vet bills but not spending $156… asking a few acquaintances for $20 each… is unacceptable, unforgivable and unfortunately the stark reality for many, many dogs at the shelter right now.

We would appreciate you taking a moment of silence in Bella’s honor and sending good vibes this way as our volunteers reel from a tough day in rescue. If you feel so led - volunteer, foster, adopt, donate and for all our sakes… DON’T LEAVE YOUR SENIOR DOGS AT THE SHELTER

WORK FOR VRC FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME!

Animal shelters everywhere are beyond capacity (especially those in the South) Adoptions and donations are low. The tsunami of dogs pouring in is the worst it's ever been, in all of my years of working in dog rescue. So when the going gets tough, the tough have to get....creative!

After talking it out with family and employees AND "crunching the numbers," I came up with a crazy idea. Why not set up "mini" Villalobos satellite locations and PAY these fosters

Believe it or not, it's actually more financially beneficial for us to pay individuals to be a "paid foster" (a mini Villalobos Rescue Center) as opposed to paying rent on a big commercial building like we do now. Add to this, it's so much better for the dogs to live in a home environment over being in a big building with rows of kennels.

Depending on your current home environment and situation, will depend on how many dogs you will be able to comfortably foster. It will also depend on if you're going to do this around your regular job OR realize that paying gas prices costs more than driving to your job. So maybe you'll want to instead be a "stay-at-home doggie Mom/Dad?"

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, be sure to join me in a Q & A and live/interactive webcast on Friday/July 15th @ 7pm (central time)

To register for the Q & A, click on the link and sign up! https://www.crowdcast.io/e/is-it-really-your-dream

If you can't make the live feed on July 15th, it is recorded and archived so you can watch it at anytime.

If you have any questions that need an immediate answers, you can email us at: [email protected] or you can wait for the webcast where all questions will be answered by me :)

Additionally, to all of those who are commenting that "people should do this for free, etc" and I know you might find this hard to believe, but some do need to make money in order to survive. While it is very much appreciated that many can foster dogs for free there are some on this page that are struggling to make ends meet. Coming on this post and making them feel bad is just not cool. So refrain from making these remarks (I will be deleting) and allow those that need the money to help our dogs that could use the extra love and attention, to make a difference in lives.
