Hello from the Pawtify Team 🐾 Happy Friday🎉 We hope everyone and their pets are staying safe during this difficult time and are reflecting on the wonderful time you had to spend more time with your loved ones and pets. Prayers to all that have experienced hardships during the last 2 months🙏🏼❤️ In addition to my grassroots project of Pawtify, I'm a healthcare worker and I just want to say as you come out of your cave and integrate back into work and society continue to practice the social distancing, hand cleaning, and mask wearing. Here in San Antonio Texas, Pawtify is creating a application which will allow you to create a profile with your choices for a furry friend. We understand that everyone has certain requirements to be able to take in a animal. Small, large, dog, cat, kid friendly, or pet friendly. You may have searched Animal Care Services website and couldn't find a pet that fit your needs and that's where Pawtify ✨shine✨. You'll plug all that information into your pawtification and Pawtify will search the Animal Care Services database daily until your fur baby has arrived at the shelter. Hello everybody! My friend Emma and I are taking the next few years to develop a mobile application that can be used by Bexar County residents when they are looking for a pet from the Animal Care Services(ACS). The app will allow people to create a profile of what type of animal and breed they are looking for. If any animals are within the parameters of what they want and are in the shelter, our application will display available those particular pets. Yet, if what you are looking for is not available yet, Pawtify will continue to search each day for you and send you a text notification when your dream pet has arrived at the shelter! We have received a grant through a partnership between Geekdom and SA Gov. We are honored one of three teams that are apart the incubator program and are grateful for their aid in helping us grow Pawtify and hope to see San Antonio one day be a no-kill city!!
