Even short haired pups need to be bathed regularly or else they can develop issues with their skin and coat. Sometimes as they get older, they have a harder time getting moisture to their skin and coat even when drinking water. Their bodies can’t retain moisture through just water anymore and they’ll need additional help by adding wet food to their diet and using a good conditioner to their bathing routines to help the skin and coat stay moisturized and healthy ✨

Josefina has come a long way!
Her first time, she struggled a lot with the groom. Very scared and nervous for even brushing.

Her second time, she was tense but let me do the whole groom with a few nips here and there.

This time, she has conquered her fear of grooming 🥰 lots of patience and love and her acceptance of the grooming process made the whole thing possible! ❤️ when you love your job, you see miracles like this 😍

What a cutie patootie! I loved her haircut and so did her mom 🥰 she got a purple bow with a shiny rhinestone but her top knot covers it ❤️ she’s such a sweetheart and did so well for the grooming process 🐾

Mister Ranger who comes in regularly got a spiffy Halloween bandana along with a full groom 🐾😍 he has the famous vet armband shave so that wasn’t me or an accident while grooming 😅 but still so adorable! 🥰
