Welcome to Tender Heart Bunnies!!
I am a small Rabbit breeder that specializes in Holland lops, here in San Antonio, Tx.
All of our bunnies are housed indoors with us in our home, and each one has an enclosed pen with lots of room to hop and play.
Even though our Does & Bucks are being bred, they are our pets first and we will always spoil and love them just the same.
* Early imprinting and Early Socialization is very important in developing friendly and social animals for pet homes, with that in mind every single one of our bunnies that we raise is handled with love and care from the time they are born till they go to their new homes.
* Our babies stay with us until they are 8 weeks old at the most, or longer depending on the bunny.
Removing babies too early from the mom is really bad for them.
Taking baby bunnies away too early can cause sensitive guts and they can be prone to GI stasis. Baba bunnies own immunity only kicks in at 7 weeks, so they really need to stay with their mom until they are stable at 8 weeks old (sometimes even longer)
* Once I post the babies we have available, I will request a non-refundable deposit to hold the bunny of your choice for you.
I know placing a deposit down can be scary as theres lots of scammers around, but for the the safety of my business and to insure my bunnies find the perfect home it is required.
Once you have made your pick and placed a deposit, your baby is reserved for you until go-home day at 8 weeks!! During that time you will receive lots of pictures & videos and i will answer any questions you may have. you will also receive lifetime of guidance and help from me after you take your baby home. And access to our Facebook group to join other Tender Heart Bunnies owners.
* For the safety of my bunnies I only allow visits once bunnies are 6 weeks old, you then can come and make your pick of the ones i have available. Once your choice is made you will place the non-refundable deposit to hold your baby.
* My goal is to raise Happy, Healthy Bunnies that will make the perfect companion and hopefully bring joy to someone for their lifetime like they have mine.☺️
Raising rabbits has brought me lots of joy, and taught me a lot along the way. And I just hope i can do the same for others through the bunnies i help bring into this world!
