These are my litter updates! I’m very happy that I have my first blue Siamese doe! I’m very happy my beautiful Siamese lady just had a fluke of a litter first time around! I already paired my Burmese satin fox doe and my yellow tricolor doe! The next two are going to be paired tomorrow! My black tan Merle angora and my satin yellow brindle splash.

Did a deep clean of the main tank for the does and grow out ladies. When my gals aren’t being bred they live in this tank in a large colony, so of course they get everything they want lol! The tank is a 30 gallon as well! It has some hard water for

Happy holidays! Despite the potentially bad news recently, I’ve had plenty of amazing success lately! I’m more than ecstatic about my Siamese doe successfully having a litter! That and we have another dove/silver splash hold back that finally has some belly splashing that’s NOT tan 😂. Only con I haven’t mentioned yet is that I did have to cull a buck for some severe buck on buck aggression at 6 weeks. I’ve had no fertility issues and at 6 weeks I’m not tolerating aggression like that. The Burmese buck is going to pair my yellow tricolor doe instead! We may have a Christmas litter from my satin red umbrous doe! I noticed some discharge and rabid breathing so either today or tomorrow! I did already pair my satin fox Burmese doe already and I will be adding my yellow tricolor to that pairing soon!

My most highly anticipated litter this year! Second times a charm and my Siamese mom has had an amazing litter! Unfortunately only two does! I held back the healthiest 6. These guys are getting fed as well! I have a lot of chances, splash, blue splash, dove splash, blue Siamese, regular splash. Maybe more!

Today I have some unfortunate news. A few days ago I had found out that my mice may have been exposed to a virus. Until I know more about the situation and testing comes back, my mousery is closed to the public! I do apologize to all who were looking forward to litters! Hopefully results come back negative, but unfortunately I don’t have high hopes.

Outside of that, I am continuing my breeding plans. My mice are still visibly healthy and are showing no signs of illness yet! (Yes I did proper quarantine) Anywho we still have 3 moms ready dm to go any day now! Siamese mom looks like she is gonna pop tonight or tomorrow! This is my most anticipated litter, due to the fact her entire first litter was FTT and this is a test breeding. She was paired to a satin splash angora boy who had nice dark points like her. Then we have another test breeding because I have no idea what she is. The best guesses are satin straw. Lastly we have my satin red umbrous doe!

Finally. I can’t believe I have to mention this. Pinkies start off pink. I’ve never seen pinkies start black or darker pigmented the hours of being born. You can clearly see I have two xblack pinkies in the last photo. Threes red bucks and two xblack does. They came from an Xblack mom and a father recessive for the gene. Of course until everything is an adult this is an assumption! This is an educated guess on what I know about the genes of the parents. As always with genetics ANYTHING could happen. 😂

I do apologize to everyone for interrupting my normal posting for this, I don’t enjoy asking for help by any means. Yesterday I had been given a time limit though. Despite me working towards settling this myself, the person I live with currently is making it impossible. Due to rising threats towards me and my items Ive created a gofundme. If it weren’t for the fact I have my animals, I would have left already, but I don’t want to leave them in this situation and it’s a last resort to have a close friend hold onto them. This money won’t be for me, this is to pay off the person I live with for helping me out with medical and rent in the time my job screwed us out of hours. I’m working towards the money to move out myself and yes, my animals are safe and well cared for. I will let myself starve before I cut any costs with them. Please consider donating, even a little bit helps. I’m going to be racking up over 6,000 bill including this. I’ve been given until March.

These mammas have been growing in size rapidly! We will have 5 litters due soon! Crossing my fingers this Siamese doe doesn’t have another failed litter! The yellowish satin angora doe is a test litter since no one can put a name for what she might be!

I completely forgot to update everyone on my silver/dove tan splash oops litter! She had 12 beans one which was hidden I held back 5 and saw a 6th one the next day! She is taking care of all her beans like a CHAMP! very full and happy babies!

From now on I will only be doing max 4 litters a month and their limit is going to be 6 pups per litter. In my experience I’ve seen pups thrive in 6 pup litters and I prefer that over just living. As per usual I will pair at 12 weeks and moms only get three litters in their lifetime. All the photos below are in order of pairings. I will be planning a month or two in advance for litters!

This lady HAS to be due tomorrow! Clearly this litter happened due to fantastic fertility… whoops 😅. She is only nursing 5 pups though no more than that! She is getting extra special treatment, fresh protein and oats. I know she should be able to handle herself but I worry as this is the earliest a mouse in this line had gotten pregnant. I’m now separating 3-4 days earlier than 4 weeks for the bucks in this line due to this oops litter. Even the two moms didn’t come out pregnant, just her! So far she is being a great mom!

This litter is so chunky I’m very happy with how they are growing out and how good mom’s milk supply has been! Always get better results when litters are culled down. The only buck in the litter is the satin argente angora which I will be starting a line with him called liquid gold.
