🐾✨ Marcelline jumped in the kitchen with a fun update that we are feeling so grateful to share ! ✨🐾

A very kind and thoughtful supporter is currently hosting a Pampered Chef Fundraiser to benefit our rescue — and thanks to their big heart (and everyone who made it possible including the consultant for so generously donating her portion as well), the pups are feeling the love! 💕

Not only is this fundraiser bringing in support for our mission, but it also reminds us just how creative and generous our incredible community can be 🥰

From cooking to caring for dogs in need, it all comes together when compassionate people step up. Thank you for being part of this journey with us and please consider shopping while the link is open through 8/31 🐶💖 Marcie suggest picking up some cookie cutters to make treats for your favorite 4-legged friends 🍪

Meet Orchard. She’s a gentle mama dog who was left behind after her puppies were pulled to safety. We believe no family member should be abandoned—good rescues don’t save the babies and leave the mom.

Here’s what we’re doing:
- We’re stepping in to help Orchard.
- We’re raising funds for safe boarding.
- We need a committed foster to get her out of the shelter right away.

How you can help:
- Foster: If you can foster Orchard please contact Ninfa Alvarado for our foster application.
- Donate: Every bit helps cover boarding and care.
- Share: Boost this post so Orchard can be seen by the right foster or adopter.

✅ Venmo:
✅ Zelle: [email protected]

Notes:
We’ve heard unconfirmed reports that Orchard’s puppies may be at Animal Defense League. If you see them there, let us know so we can get accurate info posted. We’ll update as we confirm details.

Let’s keep this family safe. Thank you for standing up for moms like Orchard🐾💜

Out of the three dogs l found together back in May. Arlo was the one that never got quite as close to me as the others did. I always wondered why. Maybe he was scared of women is what l thought.
He was the last one of the three to find a forever home. Deep down l know that is because we needed extra time to learn, to share more days.
Tomorrow is a big day! He starts a new chapter, this boy is adopted. The extra time we had, he reminded me that love doesn’t have to look the same, sometimes is reserved but more meaningful. Not every bond is instant but definitely each one leave you a mark.
My heart is full of satisfaction knowing he will finally have the home every dog deserves.

💖 UPDATE ON COCO & AN IMPORTANT PLEDGE ANNOUNCEMENT! 💖

First, the wonderful news: Coco has been officially tagged for rescue by Rescue Pets Serving Vets San Antonio! We are working with San Antonio Animal Care Services to coordinate her release, especially given her broken hip. We're hoping to get her out today or Monday at the latest.

Now, an important message about pledges for this sweet girl:

As is our standard policy, we will wait until Coco is safely in our care and we have her official "freedom picture" before we begin collecting pledges.

We know how eager you are to help, and we are so grateful! However, the shelter environment is unpredictable. To protect both our wonderful donors and our rescue, we always wait until a dog is officially "out" before processing donations. We've seen some folks have already sent funds, and while we appreciate the good faith, we kindly ask everyone to please wait for the green light from us!

🚨 BEWARE OF SCAMMERS & HOW TO DONATE SAFELY 🚨

Once Coco is safe, you will be contacted by our official page or one of our amazing pledge coordinators to fulfill your pledge. Please be ready to hear from:

✨Andrea Golombek Montgomery (our main pledge coordinator)

✨Sarah Caitlin

✨Kristin Lince

Scammers often create fake profiles with logos and payment links that look very similar to ours. To ensure your generous donation goes to Coco and not a scammer, please wait for one of us to contact you with the correct links.

To make things easier, you can send a friend request to our main pledge coordinator, Andrea. This helps her messages get through to you! She may ask for a screenshot of your donation to help us track everything efficiently. Thank you in advance for your kindness and cooperation!

Finally, please ensure you are donating to our San Antonio chapter. We are separate from our mother rescue in Pennsylvania and have our own donation accounts.

When we share Coco's freedom picture, here are our ONLY official donation methods:

Urgent: Hot & Sunny in San Antonio — Sadie Needs Help ☀️🙏

Sweet Sadie (2 y/o, Rhodesian Ridgeback mix) was hit by a car and badly injured. She needs surgery for two fractures but is currently being treated for pneumonia. Rightnow, she’s fighting hard but we need your prayers and help. It’s hot and sunny here in San Antonio, and while we keep her cool and comfortable, the medical bills are piling up.

Please consider donating or sharing her story so we can get Sadie the surgery and care she needs.

How you can help:
- Share this post to help spread the word.
- Send prayers and positive vibes 🙏❤️

Coco needs surgery - the sooner the better - we're getting inundated with inboxes on this little cutie.

Here's what we have -
1. An amazing foster - the best
2. Desire
3. 2 weeks temp hone boarding
while foster on vacay

Here's what's needed:
1. Funds covering surgery 👇
https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=GX3ZNXMG9A226
💥reference Coco at ACS

2. An FHO - removing the top of the bone that you can clearly see out of the hip socket. This wil cost from our experience with Dr Thomas Ramsey, $1500 to $1700 from the last surgery with Ford who is doing phenomenal btw it was $1700. This was with our rescue discount. Coco will have follow up appt and may need other related things. My foster is out of town for 1.5 weeks and I do not want surgery done without the booster as well so timing works. I can explain this later as a compromised hostess w/ high risk of exposure to distemper. 💥we already have Sadie thats is positive for pneumonia and we are waiting for the respiratory panel to rule out distemper and her surgery is $4.5K - $6.5K which we are still not at goal.

3. I need good faith donations - I am posting my Paypal here, I will refund your donation (what we received after the fee was removed from pp or Venmo) if something happens snd we dint get the dog.

4. We do things a certain way. She will get surgery asap POST a BOOSTER of DAPP+L; if you know Distemoer as intimately as us, you'll know why
*dogs ALWAYS meet quarantine post the final booster clinically deeming the dog or puppy safest. Never before. Dogs in the system prior with proven histories of vaccines - i will review and can leave in 14-15 days. I do not network with rescues or ppl in general who do not understand or follow my protocols. The RPSVSA team places the dogs after talking to the potentisl adopters veterinarian, their employer & references and we do soft background checks. You should demand these things from anyone that pulls dogs for you. They are way more they "just a dog" to us

💥 If you want to apply to adopt, please email:

A little love goes a long way and a lot goes forever. Pablo is calm and loving; he has been noted to be potential service dog material by several trainers that have noted his calm demeanor. He is dog friendly 🐕 and he's good with cats 🐈 too but as far as humans go, he puts them on the pedal stool bc to him, we hung the moon 🌙 .

As you can tell, Pablo was found starving on the streets of San Antonio and we believe he was in a confined space where he couldn't stand but he's great now with the TLC he always deserved . Please contact us if you want to meet Pablo or have him evaluated as a Service Dog and we can point you to ppl who know how - he is just so chilled and calm. He is 200% devoted to his person - a beautiful hazel eyed lad whom is smart and sensitive to your feelings. We believe he is a bird dog and lab mix from his markings and demeanor. About 40 lbs
