1. “Winging it” becomes a daily strategy and your meetings are mostly with yourself.

2. You juggle multiple things at once, except the balls are on fire, and sometimes you just have to laugh and let one drop!

3. A quick task takes 3 hours and just one more e-mail turns into 12!

4. Your “I got this” turns into “ wait, do I got this?”

How many of us have a favorite breed of dog? I will be honest, I do 🙋🏼‍♀️ I fell in love with the Yorkshire Terrier breed when I got my Chelsea back in 2005. I added Lexi to my family in 2015. I loved those girls and knew in my heart when they passed, I’d have to add another one to my family eventually.
Well, in steps Miss Ivy. She is NOTHING like Chelsea and Lexi.
She’s:
Quirky ✅
Yappy✅
Mischievous ✅
A Foodie ( she steals everyone’s food) ✅
Needy ✅
But, she adds so much joy to our family and I’m blessed she gets along with Sky and Biscuit.
The moral of the story is we can’t base our expectations on pups we have had in the past. They are all unique and special in their own way. I’ve had to let go of my preconceived ideas of how she should be and embrace her uniqueness. And boy is she unique 😂🥰
