This young three month puppy was reunited with her family all thanks to this lovely couple and a microchip. Microchips have reunited so many lost pets with their loved ones and this another one of those occasions. Thank you to this family for taking in this little girl and helping reunited with her family.

Obi and Suki came in yesterday for a concern visit. While Obi preferred his carrier, you would never know his sister Suki was here for a concern visit. She definitly made herself at home here at the clinic yesterday. We love seeing our kitty cat patients 🖤🤍

Zeus and Paris came in for their puppy exam and their vaccine boosters. Both kids did absolutely well with their vaccines. Along with a little bit of food motivation here at NDS animal hospital, we believe in positive reinforcement in the form of food, treats, attention just to make sure that we are providing the proper positive environment for all of our patients.

The beautiful Tigger got dressed in one of her favorite spring outfits to go on her walk with her dad. While they were out, they came in for Tigger's Librela injection. Librela is a monthly injection to help with osteoarthritis, and we have seen an improvement in the quality of life of our patients (like Tigger) when it comes to walking, playing, or just everyday activities. Ask your vet about Librela on your next visit.

CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!!! This is Little Filet and she is sooo adorable. This 2.4 lb chihuahua is such a sweetheart and is just pure joy to be with. Filet came in for vaccines boosters and prevention and did amazing!! We can't wait to see you grow.

Fun Chihuahua fact: there are a lot of diversity in chihuahuas. There are 7 different chihuahua breeds and there are multiple chihuahua breed mixes.

Coco Cookie Monster came in for a puppy exam and to test out our treats. After careful analysis and multiple tasting, we were given 2 paws up 🐾🐾for all treats in hospital. She did so well on her appointment!!!

CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!! Miss Sugar Cookie came in for her last set of vaccine boosters, cookies and lots of belly rubs. She is so happy.

Looks like someone found our cookie drawer. Miss Juniper came in for booster for Leptospirosis vaccine and did amazing.

Per the AVMA:
"Leptospirosis is a disease caused by infection with Leptospira bacteria. These bacteria can be found worldwide in soil and water. There are many strains of Leptospira bacteria that can cause disease, and many mammals are susceptible—including dogs, people, livestock, and certain wildlife. Although cats also may become ill, this happens only rarely.

Vaccines are available to protect dogs from this potentially life-threatening disease. Because of the risk and severity of leptospirosis, experts recommend that all dogs be vaccinated. This can help protect people from infection, too. An initial series of two vaccinations spaced 4 weeks apart is typically recommended, followed by annual boosters. This series can be started at 12 weeks of age or later."

Please ask your veterinarian on your next visit about the Leptospirosis vaccine.
