Stop what you’re doing & look at how absolutely adorable Kingston is 😭💕 He was such a fun little guy to have on my books today.

First grooming appointments for puppies are so important. We want to make sure that they have a great time. So if they are starting to get a little flustered with things, I’ll put them on the floor and run around with them/play for a minute or two & then continue. We want them to be happy to see us 💕

This little guy made my day. It was his first grooming & he did wonderful! It’s not perfect but we have a happy puppy & client, that’s all we could ask for 🐾

Bueno won the lottery when he was rescued from the euthanasia list at the pound. Luckily, he found a wonderful foster & will be heading to a rescue soon. I am so glad we could help him look & feel better. He was just the sweetest guy. 💕

Happy Holidays from Indigo Pet Grooming! 🎄

In light of the recent dog respiratory sickness that is being spread throughout the US, we wanted to touch on our safety/cleaning procedures.

🐾 We offer a 1 on 1 experience with no interactions from any dogs who aren’t in your family. This means no kennels & grooming that is done straight through - no wait time!

🐾 We disinfect between each pet that comes into our care to minimize the possibility of infection from dog to dog.

🐾 We clean/disinfect our units from top to bottom at the end of each day.

🐾 Starting back from our holiday break, we will be asking a series of health questions to each family to ensure we minimize the possibility of grooming a dog that is sick.

🐾 We ask all pet parents to watch their dogs closely - if your dog is showing any symptoms from the picture listed below that you reschedule your grooming appointment & call your vet for further examination.

❗ A mysterious yet highly contagious disease is affecting dogs across the US and is similar to the symptoms of kennel cough or canine influenza. Be on the lookout for signs of upper respiratory illness in your dog, such as sneezing, coughing, nasal and/or eye discharge, and lethargy. If you suspect your dog may be affected, contact your veterinarian.

This is an evolving situation, and we will share information as soon as we have it.

UPDATE: Dandy has been found safe!

Someone stole him out of a locked & running work truck. Drove all the way to LIVE OAK & supposedly dropped him off in a neighborhood not far from Live Oak Animal Control. Someone found him & brought him in. The angel who was working JUST saw his Pawboost post and immediately took him & contacted Karli. He is unharmed and so happy to be back with his mom.

We are so grateful to have found Dandy! Thank you to everyone who helped spread the word. We can’t thank you enough!

Our groomer’s dog was stolen from her truck. His name is Dandy. He’s 8 pounds, was wearing a cow sweater, had an anchor collar and an anchor leash, and has orange and yellow coloring on his legs (candy corn for Halloween). He’s also cryptorchid. He was stolen from the Whataburger at 1604 and Bandera. Please help us get him back home safe and sound. He’s missed terribly and we’re a worried mess.
