The world's first vegan carnival is coming to Texas. Sin-Carne-Val will take place in the heart of downtown San Antonio at the historic Sunset Station.

A new world is possible. ❤

Hello V-Gang. We would like to take this time to address the current state of affairs in the world.

With the spread of COVID-19 around the world, humanity is at a crossroads.

We are forced to reevaluate, reconsider & reject our old way of thinking for the greater good. Loans & debts are being forgiven or postponed, governments are working together to help the needs of the common man.

We are being forced to slow down, enjoying precious time with our friends & family.

Around the world pollution levels are dropping & wildlife is returning to places they havent been in years! Communities are working together to help those in need & small businesses are giving back in thier most trying time.

We are in this together. When viewing humanity as a whole, we see there is no difference between us. Color, gender, social class, nationality, or religion do not separate us when facing an invisible, aggressive threat.

We are all earthlings.

At this time we urge everyone to use this time to reflect on how reckless we have been & how we can move forward in a more ecological earth friendly approach.

You can help us all get past this by:
1. Washing your hands regularly. (especially after being outside or touching anything)
2. Staying home as much as possible. (Play with the pets, spend time with the kids, have sit down home cooked dinners, etc)
3. Alerting your doctor the second you feel sick, by phone. They can direct you on how to get checked without risking others. (Do not go to the ER or hospital, there are procedures in place for a reason)
4. Eat well, drink water & stay active! (Drink water as much as possible, have hot tea, eat plants & workout at home. A healthy body is your first line of defense against any sickness)
5. Don't hoard! (Keep things rational, this is not the end of the world, but it could be a new beginning. So let's just be smart about things, plus the elderly need to have things available at all times, they are most at risk)
6. Foster a pup! (Shelters are having a hard time right now & they will soon have to start euthanizing if they get overcrowded, which they usually already are) plus you get a quarantine buddy!
7. Be smart! (Don't go out at all if you feel even slightly sick, buy things you need, not what you think you need, stay away from crowds & the elderly)

Let's spend less & love more.
Read more books & scroll the internet less.
Listen more than we speak.
Eat balanced home cooked dinners.
Support local businesses over corporate ones.

CDC suggests cancelling all events 50ppl+ until May 2020, as SIN-CARNE-VAL is scheduled May 23rd-24th we have decided NOT to cancel!

With that being said, we are keeping a very close eye on the situation and will do what is necessary should the situation arise. Nonetheless, we will be taking all precautions seriously day of the event. Cleanliness and sanitation will be front & center for everyones protection.

As we said, THIS IS NOT THE END, however, this can be a new beginning!🌎

Let's get past this and enjoy our new found understanding with the worlds first ever CARNIVAL FOR HERBIVORES, SIN-CARNE-VAL.
