Here is the latest forecast from the US National Weather Service Austin-San Antonio Texas. Stay weather aware later this week, Boerne, and keep checking for updates as we get closer to Thursday.

"After a strong cold front arrives late Wednesday, a weak disturbance Thursday into early Friday could lead to a light wintry mix. We are currently not expecting significant accumulations besides elevated surfaces, but those venturing out should monitor the latest weather reports."

Haven for Hope is so excited to share out our partners at SACRD.org now offer a Mental Health Services Portal. Through SACRD's website, the community will now be able to search for services by zip code, service format, condition, issue, age, language, type, and payment.

This very user-friendly format narrows down searches to create an expedient outcome and is open to all members of the community. Not only is this an exciting tool for the community but one so very vital as a tool for the case management experience here at Haven for Hope.

The “Deep in our Hearts” memorial, honoring those we’ve lost to COVID-19, now runs along the edge of Hemisfair.

Families are invited to honor their loved ones by writing names on the hearts that line the park’s fence.

For all we’ve been through, we must heal together.

San Antonio Water System is opening seven water distribution locations across the city at its pump stations to provide customers with water.

Hope you are staying safe in this current round of snow and icy weather. Below is an update on water service from SAWS as of noon today.

Stone Oak:

Everything south of Knights Cross in Stone Oak will be coming back on line in the next 3 hours. The tank there and on Bitters is pressuring up now.

Pipe breakages are draining system as they distribute. Power going off and on was not allowing the pressure to build.

North of Knights Cross from Canyon Springs up into Timberwood Park is projected to have water late tonight.

I-10 area:

Tanks are filling up and booster stations are coming back on line. By Sunday the systems in this area will have water, but we hope it will be on Saturday.

8:46a 5/15/2020 - The Storm Prediction Center has upgraded most of our area to an Enhanced Risk of Severe Storms for this evening into Saturday AM. The reason for the upgrade is an increasing damaging wind threat up to 75 mph. Large hail is also possible out west.
