Happy Friday from Bucky! He loves his morning walks! So far he is doing well. Thankfully his meds are working so that he is still able to potty. We're praying they work long term for him. That's the goal and to keep him happy and comfortable! Thanks again to everyone for praying for him, donating to him, and sending him lots of love! I'm sure he's feeling it! 💕

Bucky wanted to give everyone a BIG THANK YOU and an update! He had another catheter inserted to empty his bladder on Sunday, and ever since then he has been able to p*e on his own and is showing signs of improvement. His appetite is good, energy is good, he's pottying normally and he's continuing his treatment and supplements. The vet visit plus meds was $1k but we had it covered thanks to your generous donations. 😃 We are all so grateful and we're just praying Bucky keeps this up! Please continue to pray for Bucky if you can, thanks again! 🙏❤️

This is going to be a difficult post. Our little family is really going through it this summer. Both our dogs got sick in June, and as y'all know Dexter passed July 1st of cancer. Then Danielle got pneumonia and was sick for nearly a month. Finally, we learned Bucky has prostate cancer and his outlook isn't good. His prognosis was, at best 6 months to live. 😭 His main issue is going potty and we're doing everything possible to give him more time and keep him comfortable. All this to say, we've racked up about $10k this summer trying to save our boys. The photo of our cc charges is just one credit card where we've put most of the charges on.

George & I are not the type to ask for money. It's taken us a long time to get to this point & put our pride aside. We drained our savings and are prepared to take out a loan next. I honestly feel like a failure in asking this but if you're able to help us, we would greatly appreciate it. Right now, Bucky is on many holistic supplements along with his prescribed meds. He needs to go back to the vet today to get his bladder emptied because he is not able to p*e on his own. We're looking into a procedure for them to basically create a new opening for him to p*e. Bucky still has a lot of energy and everything would be fine if he could just p*e! We can't give up on him because we're running out of money. We just can't. But we do need help at this point. :(

If you're able to help, we would greatly appreciate it. If not, we totally get it, and ask that you please keep Bucky in your thoughts and prayers, that he can get better and have more time. Thanks for all your help. ❤️

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our little angel Dexter. We're absolutely devastated that we couldn't save him. The doctors informed us that Dexter's organs were failing and that they couldn't treat his lymphoma. Dexter changed the whole course of my life when he came into the world in April 2011. He was the happiest, smartest, and best dog in the whole world! Just a perfect angel and we miss him to pieces! 😭 My only comfort is in knowing we gave him the best life we could and that when it was time, he was surrounded by love and went very peacefully into heaven. He is no longer suffering in his body but running free now. 🌈

Our baby Dexter could really use your prayers and healing vibes. Earlier in June, his entire body swelled up and we thought it was a reaction to an insect bite. He went through treatment and was recovering, however he took a turn for the worse last week. His blood work shows high liver levels and anemia. He had an ultrasound to rule out a tumor, as he also has an enlarged spleen. Our vet can't figure out what's wrong, so we have an appt to see a specialist Tuesday. Dexter is now in the ER vet awaiting a specialist to see him tomorrow, as he started to turn yellow and continued vomiting. He's in bad shape, he's 13, and we don't know what the specialist will tell us tomorrow. We're not ready to say goodbye to him just yet. 😭💔

*UPDATE* We will be ending the enrollment period for new pet sitting clients on May 15th, 2024 in order to focus on our current clients throughout the busy summer season. June and July will fill quickly, so plan your trips today and get your pets on our calendar! 😃

We will still be accepting new cat or bird sitting clients throughout the year, as they have a more flexible time frame for us to care for them. 🐈 🐦

Dog boarding is also staying open throughout 2024, however we do anticipate a period in the summer where we will not be able to accept new clients (June/July).

Yesterday, Spoiled Rotten Pet Care turned 11 years old! We wanted to share a little timeline, story time. 🤗 In 2013, Danielle decided to start following her passion for animals and start a business. Many people know that her corgi Dexter was a huge reason for starting SRPC. Many don't know that it was also Danielle's battles with cancer in 2009 & 2010 that gave her the drive to start her own business. Pic #4 was in 2014, when SRPC officially became full time. Family and friends helped SO much in growing the business! There's no way we would have made it without them!! 💕 Pic #5 is when Dexter got on Kens 5 to support our friends at . We both started our businesses at the same time and it's been a great relationship with Alexis & Esther. Pic #6 is Walter & Suzie who allowed Danielle to go full time with SRPC. She spent many weeks overnighting with those cuties. Lastly, we just want to say how grateful we are for this wonderful journey! Some clients have been with us from the very beginning and it's so amazing! The friendships we've made with clients and other businesses has really filled our hearts. There's a lot more we wanted to add, more from the past few years, but thanks for reading if you got this far. 😆 To many more years of caring for the sweet furry and feathery babies! 🤗💕
