Fetching Freedom is all about building off leash confidence and obedience through play and engagement. We offer obedience from beginner to advanced as well as specialize in behavioral issues from timidness to aggression. I have been working with, studying, and learning from dogs since I was a little kid. I have had the privilege of working with some of the best trainers and behaviorist in the worl

d. Dogs are pack animals and it is everything they know. We as humans communicate differently; with Fetching Freedom we are going to teach you how to understand what your dog is saying to you and how to communicate with them. When you learn to work with your dog then you can work on building a stronger relationship with them. We offer a consultation with you and your dog BEFORE training. We will meet you at a park or in your home and talk about what you are looking for, meet your dog, and show you what you can expect from a couple of our personal dogs. The power that a stable pack of dogs can bring to the table is priceless. The past five years have been centered around building myself a stable pack to help me. I have 6 members ranging from three years old to eight years old. During your training you will meet some or all of them. They help me learn from your dog and teach you what you need to know.

2024 we will be opening a second location. We will be starting to offer training in the DFW area of Texas. We will still continue to train in San Antonio/La Vernia and surrounding area. Lulu (SDIT) had a chance to train with distractions alongside our friend Ximena during her car’s servicing.

These two puppies are still available through a local San Antonio breeder. 1 male and 1 female. We have been working with these two and both would make wonderful service dog prospects, therapy dogs, or family pets. If you want more info you can reach out to us via messenger or text.

Keeping your dog safe on New Year's Eve is something to consider! First, make sure your pup is wearing proper identification in case they do end up getting lost. You should also bring a leash and keep it on your dog while they are outdoors. If they are afraid of loud noises, create a safe and comfortable area inside your home. Play calming music and provide plenty of toys and treats. If you plan to be outside for the festivities, make sure to bring plenty of water and a few snacks to keep your pup happy and hydrated. Lastly, avoid sparklers, fireworks, and other explosives as they can be dangerous for your furry friend.

Storms 2.0….. what’s better than one puppy playing in the rain??? TWO puppies playing in the rain. .. .. Yesterday it was raining more and as you can hear the thunder is much louder. Again I took Lacey our board and train and Honey out to potty and play in the rain. .. Sure I got wet and sure it was loud. However, being the example for the puppies in a situation that a lot of dogs are fearful is priceless. .. With storms hitting a few places in and around San Antonio, plus the 4th of July coming I figured this would be helpful. .. Dogs don’t have to be scared of storms and fireworks. When ever it starts to storm I take them out on a leash and I play in the rain. .. Have fun, run around like a 5 year old and show your dog your not scared. If you can get far enough away from fireworks then play games, play fetch on a leash and just have fun. .. Be the example for your dog and show them that it’s fun to be outside and play during the storm. .. Here is a video of 4.5 month old Honey playing while a storm roles in. Only her second lesson and Coco is rocking it. She was very distracted by my dogs in the car but quickly was walking loose leash with mom.

Y’all remember Ebby & Ivy? They went home 2 weeks ago and look at them now. Mom couldn’t even get out the front door without them bolting. This week she did her first ever loose leash walk in a public park. She is following through with her homework every week and staying constant. So proud of this team.
