As we all spend time today with family and friends it’s important to remember the sacrifices that have been made that has allowed us to be Americans. The sacrifices of hundreds of thousands of soldiers. They have left family, friends, children and spouses to fight for an idea. The idea of freedom for all. We are eternally grateful to all of those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice and laid down their life so that others may live and live freely. Thank you to the families that have given up their loved ones for that dream. We stand behind you as well. Your sacrifice is no less special. We will always remember what has been lost in order to honor what has been given. Thank you will never be enough , but it’s a start. We salute you all!

It’s been 22 years since our country was attacked by evil. Evil that attempted to destroy our ideals that we are all created with unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Our country is far from perfect , but we are unique. Our experiment has changed the world . We are blessed to live in a country where we can openly love it and hate it at the same time. Regardless, of your political or religious stance we are all allowed to have one. I think we have lost something since 9/11. That little piece of us all that’s fundamentally American and it binds us all to eachother. 2,977 Americans died on 9/11 to attack the freedoms we seem to have forgotten that make us so great. Never forget we are all brothers and sisters, that true evil does exist and everyday we have a chance to change the world around us. Our children are the future, help them to learn love for one another, that empathy matters, character matters, boys can be strong , brave and kind, girls can be a mother and a fighter , stand up for your beliefs , they all have the potential to do amazing things, miracles exist, their soul is precious and above all regardless of the color of your skin, right or left, straight or gay, we are all Americans and that’s a pretty damn good thing to be. God Bless everyone.

We have some broken limbs through the property. So when arriving tomorrow please be patient as it’s not safe to address the situation today but we may have multiple parking spaces unusable tomorrow until we can clear the debris. Currently using random furniture to block spots we think are problematic. 😂

We have made the decision to close tomorrow 2/1 as well. We do not take these decisions lightly as we all know how important it is to have access to health care for your pet. Unfortunately , due to the continued rain and low temperatures we feel the roads will continue to freeze over night with the continued rain in the forecast and it will not be safe for our staff to be on the roads.Dogs in boarding are our top priority right now and they will be cared for regardless. We wish everyone a safe night and stay off the roads. We’re Texans we stick together , but we don’t know how to handle this!!! Where’s the sun?!?! See you all Thursday.

Today , Uvalde students and teachers return to school . We can’t even imagine how hard that must be as a parent and as a student filled w fear. Today we ask that anyone that sees this just prays for the hearts of everyone in Uvalde and their families. Today we should all stand in solidarity as Texans not divided by politics or points of view. Today we hold our fellow Texans in our hearts and let them know we stand behind them. If any dads or people in general would like to organize a event to stand in front of those schools ( if allowed) and show those kids that they have an entire community behind them please reach out and let’s work together.
