Hi everyone! If you’ve been a client, you already know me but for anyone new to my business, welcome!
My name is Derryn. I have three fur babies-my boxer boys Beau and Meeko and my pitty mix Luna-and a tripod bearded dragon named Anakin. I love music, singing, cars, coffee, and of course, animals.
Ever since I was little, I wanted a profession where I could be hands on with animals. I started as a pet bather/helper in 2016 and completed my grooming academy through petsmart in April of 2017. While happy with my job, I wanted to help at a greater level than I could at petsmart, so I left to groom at a veterinary hospital. There, I learned about pets on an entirely different level, yet I was still restricted in what I could do and offer pets due to corporate policies. I tried working at a few smaller private salons but no matter where I went, there was always something wrong or missing.
In January of 2021, a personal matter caused me to leave the salon I was at and while it was scary going solo, it has been so amazing and I have never looked back!
I love my job and am forever grateful to my wonderful clients who have supported me and are helping my small business grow. I will continue to care for each furbaby as if they were my own and help them feel and look their very best 💜💜
