Sit Means Sit was the best decision we could have made for our family! When Waylon came to live with us, he had a heart of gold but was a bit rough around the edges. He was an escape artist with separation anxiety and he had a massive amount of unfocused energy. But the real issue was his tendency to lunge and nip the young kids in the family. The team at SMS was fantastic! They taught us to help focus his energy and Waylon found his confidence in our pack. His main trainer, Taz, was very knowledgeable and supportive and even came to our house for a private training session with the kids to help build their confidence with Waylon. After a year of implementing the lessons we learned at SMS, Waylon is just a fun loving dog and he now loves playing with all the kids when they visit!! We can not speak highly enough of the team at Sit Means Sit and would recommend them to any family!

When we adopted this boy, we had no idea how much chaos we were in for. After trying all the tricks and skills we had used before and found on the internet, we called Sit Means Sit in Cibolo. They were prompt in responding and very thorough and understanding of our questions and concerns. We were very nervous about training at a facility as one of our worst problems was his reactivity toward other dogs but they assured us that they would help him work through that. Our Benny loves going to school and is learning to listen and behave better with every class. The instructors are reassuring when we are feeling frustrated and always readily available to offer tips and different things to try when we are struggling at home. If you have yourself a dog who thinks his name is "Nonostopit" then you should definitely give them a call and tour their facility.
Bonus is your dog will sleep for hours after classes.

Mom let us know that Cooper struggles with: walking on leash, jumping and demand barking and is bad at interacting with people and pets. Great work Cooper! All that hard work pays off and we are excited to see you at group!!

I enrolled my German Sheppard Puppy (5 months old) in the drop of day training program, and we could not be happier. Results were evident after the first day! They took the time to teach my wife and I the correct timing of commands and corrections which is really the biggest issue...It really is us not them =) Were also looking forward to the six months of classes associated with the training package we purchased which was WELL WORTH the money. Thanks Lisa and Team!

Meet Beau, Beau has had some bad experiences with other dogs and can be really reactive. He wants to be friends with other dogs but gets nervous with other dogs are nearby and will posture with barking, lunging and growling. He has made such huge progress in his training!!! We can't wait to take it to the next level in group class!!!

Olive goes home on Saturday but we are soo proud of her. She came to Sit Means Sit to work on being polite when meeting new people and dogs, jumping up on people and lots of leash pulling. She has done AMAZING. We can't wait to see her at group to take training even further!!!

Enrolling Jake at SMS was one of the best decisions I've made for him so far!

I found SMS on Google/Yelp and stopped by the Broadway facility on a whim. After asking a few questions, Austin wanted to meet Jake and welcomed us in. Although Jake is very obedient he really struggled with meeting people and other dogs. Austin was very transparent, genuine, and encouraging and reassured us that SMS could help build Jake's confidence. He encouraged us to start muzzle conditioning and four weeks later we dropped him off for his first day camp.

Taz took the time to introduce herself to Jake and quickly gained his trust. I was amazed and left with my heart at ease.

Next we met Josh who has an undeniable passion for dog training. His cool calm approach and ability to lead and control Jake was really impressive and again we left feeling more and more hopeful.

Later we met Caitlyn who really helped teach me how to communicate with Jake, keep him engaged, and gave me a better understanding how to juggle the leash and e-collar remote.

Next we met Kendall who continued to help us work on Jake's impulse control, going through doors, and leash pulling. She also helped teach Jake how to get himself into my Jeep without me lifting him.

On each of these days Robert showed up bright and early to happily receive Jake, check on our progress, and make note of any issues we were having that we'd like the trainers to focus on that day. Jake was always so happy to go with Robert that he stopped looking back for me when I'd leave. Clearly Jake's confidence grew with each visit.

Brittney who had heard of a highly reactive dog enrolling met Jake one day and couldn't believe he was the dog that she heard about. She said "Jake... from State Farm? This Jake? No way!"

This amazing staff continues to impress me with their training techniques, patience for dogs/people, and compassion for all dogs without judgement. They've really taken great care of my boy.

In group classes the team has been very intentional to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and having fun! Even if Jake struggles with a new task or gets too talkative in class I consider it all a huge WIN because just two months ago I could not imagine Jake being in the same room with strangers and dogs and yet he's doing amazing!

Thank you to the entire Sit Means Sit team for training me and taking such great care of my Jake!

Meet Barley, Barley's mom just had a baby and Barley was not exactly sure what to make of all the changes. When the baby cried, Barley would react. We worked on impulse control, and leash skills so the family could go out with a stroller. Mom even sent us audio of the baby to play on speakers to practice! Great thinking Mom!!! Barley is ready to go home and enjoy the new bundle of joy!!!!
