Did you know that there are breeds that are genetically predisposed to certain medical conditions? This is why it is always a good idea to research breeds before you adopt an animal. Help to reduce the amount of abandoned fur babies and do your research before adopting.
Ear mites! Also known as Otodectes cynotis. Cats are more prone to get ear mite infestations, and can be contracted from most outdoor environments! Symptoms of an ear mite infection are inflammation, increased scratching or hair loss, and excessive debris in the ears. If you notice any of these symptoms bring in your furry friend and we can get them some relief!
