Sonny is here reminding everyone to avoid the heat of the day! We keep training to early morning walks and later evening training in grass to avoid hot pavements! Even short walks on a hot day can damage paw pads so be mindful and buy a heat gun if you really want to be on top of it!

Ragnar ready for the weekend!!! We officially have our June books open for booking! We have Board and Trains as well as a few spots for private lessons! So if you have vacations planned let us know and we can secure your spot with a deposit! Also if you are planning to travel for 4th of July please contact me ASAP my spaces always get filled overnight which is why we are accepting deposits now! As always if you have any questions about our programs or maybe you are looking for something a little more tailored to your needs contact us so we can create a plan for you! Harley went home and was a rockstar and even said hi to someone brand new on her own! šŸ„² Our board and trains have evolved from being obedience focused to manners and socialization focused due to the request from well you guys! Weā€™ve enjoyed helping each and every one of you help your guys truly learn how to enjoy life in scary environments and learn manners at home! While we do obviously teach the obedience portion of our programs our focus has lately truly been to help dogs that maybe needed some extra help socializing catch up and itā€™s been so rewarding!

Welcome Harley! She is yes another Great Dane šŸ˜‚ she is here for manners and confidence building!!! A little backstory on the trainers who run this business! We actually started doing the majority of our training career right before COVID happened and we got to see dogs and humans go from before COVID during and after and let me tell you the change definitely impacted dogs and owners alike and weā€™ve never truly gotten back to how things were before COVID! With that being said we became very accustomed and skilled to working with dogs that are both nervous and under-socialized! Now some struggle more than others but it became something that truly makes me happy because we see dogs go from terrified of the world to enjoying life with their owners and itā€™s always so great to see!!! Anyways before I continue on and on the next availability we have is in May which is now half booked so get your spots booked now and we look forward to working with you!

Spring is here! With that we are booked for board and trains until May 1st with spaces already filling up! If you want to book ahead for summer contact us and we will hold your spot with a deposit with full payment not being due until you begin! With us being a small training team our spots are extremely limited so that we can devote the one on one time your dog needs to feel comfortable and thrive while also training! Also we will begin adding pay per day board and trains options come summerā€¦ however there will be a separate contract outlining what is to be expected with these much shorter programs! We are excited for the weather to be warming up and cannot wait to work with everyone!

Jett working on our heeling around reactive dogs during our normal daily route! With some dogs we are working on good regular obedience and with other dogs we are building up their confidence and fear responses! I wonā€™t sugar coat what I see when it comes to your dog because itā€™s been in my experience that the more you understand your dog and why your dog acts the way they do the more you can set them up for success and Iā€™ve seen dogs start off not being able to walk out their front door go traveling across the country with their owners happy as can be! We arenā€™t just here to train your dog to sit and stay my personal goal with you and your dog is to make it where you guys can enjoy life together in its fullest! Whether itā€™s walking around the neighborhood, hanging out inside with family, or traveling across the country!

When working with Giant Breed puppies the most important thing in my opinion is teaching them a clear line of communication with you! What does this do? It allows you to have a way to communicate boundaries and expectations without it being about physical manipulation or ā€œforceā€ because letā€™s face it at only 6 months old Mr. Luc over here is already taller than me šŸ˜‚ People often ask us if we can handle larger dogs and the answer is yes and itā€™s not because we have the brute strength to restrain or force them to do anything because being upfront I am quite short! What we do have is the skills needed to teach your dog how to communicate back and forth with us and the more clear that pathway becomes the less you need to rely on ā€œforceā€
