This Saturday, ADL and City of San Antonio Animal Care Services will be hosting a FREE Pet Vaccination & Microchip Event! We will be in your community on January 14, 2023 at Garza Park (1450 Mira Vista) from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Clinic services are available for San Antonio residents only and free of cost with proof of residency (a valid driver's license or ID card).

🐾 What's included: Free vaccines, microchips, and prevention (for select district (District 7), while supplies last)
🐾 What to expect: Clinic services are available for San Antonio residents only. Limit to 100 pets served, 3 pets per household. All services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our Pet-Friendly Warming Centers are now OPEN. 🐾 Bring the fur-kids and stay warm during this winter freeze. Please be sure to have all dogs on proper collar, harness, and leash, cats must be in appropriate travel carriers. Centers will provide crates for temporary use, pet bowls, in addition to pet food and water and basic pet care supplies (cat litter, litter boxes, etc.).

Nuestros Centros de Calentamiento están ABIERTOS y aceptan mascotas! Por favor a segúrese de tener a todos los perros con el collar, el arnés y la correa adecuados; los gatos deben estar en los transportadores de viaje apropiados. Los centros proveerán jaulas temporales, tazones, además de comida y agua para mascotas y suministros básicos para el cuidado de mascotas (arena para gatos, cajas de arena, etc.).

COLD WEATHER REMINDER!!!

As the outdoor temperatures start to drop, cats will hide under car hoods for protection and warmth.

Use caution when you start your car in the cold winter months ahead. If cats are left outside, they may climb under the car hood for protection from the cold. Before you climb into your car, slap the hood or open it for a quick look around.
