We will be offering a Q&A and testing this Friday, April 21 @ 630 with founder Raegan Comeaux! We are super excited to have Raegan come explain and test our local equine enthusiasts!

Russell Equestrian would like to congratulate all of our IEA riders on an excellent job for our inaugural year! With only 8 riders on the team we had 6, make regionals, 4 make zones and 1 rider made nationals! Congratulations to all on your accomplishments this year!

Congratulations to Maria Alvarez for not only qualifying for nationals in future novice over fences but for placing 8th place making her 8th in the nation for 2021!

Thank you to everyone for sharing all your condolences and memories of Colonel Russell. We have heard back about the funeral services and unfortunately due to Covid, we are only having limited people able to come. The services with be for family members and very close family friends due to the restrictions. We are thinking about having a memorial/celebration of his life around his birthday, Feb 2nd. We will keep everyone posted on that front on this page. Thank you again to all the outpouring of love for a great man!

We really appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers. If anyone is wondering what they can do as a memorial to Colonel Russell., Shane has asked that instead of flowers, people donate to the US Modern Pentathlon or USET please. We still don’t have any information on services. I will keep everyone updated through this page. Thank you all so much for showing your love, support and memories of Colonel. He affected so many peoples’ lives and was truly an inspiration to so many and one of the greatest horsemen to ever live.

Thank you everyone for your thoughtful posts. We are very appreciative of all the calls and condolences. We are asking that everyone give Shane and Colonel Russell’s family some privacy during this time. If they would like to offer their condolences on the website , page or on the barn phone number for Shane I will make sure she receives their messages. She has been overwhelmed by calls as I’m sure you understand. Please keep Shane and Colonels family in you thoughts and prayers while they are going through this difficult time. Thank you
