Meet our customer Gus! He is a 5-month Great Dane weighing in at 80lbs. As his mom says, “half way there for this gentle giant.” Gus was sporting one of our collars and got some Origen LARGE BREED puppy food!

You will probably agree when we say it’s been an epic (bad) year for fleas and mosquitoes!! Oral flea medications do not keep these nasty little things from getting on our fur babies and only kills them once they bite. Too Late‼️ all that itching could be flea allergies. We can help! Trust us when we say Wondercide Natural Flea collars do!! Our store manager, Trixie, wears one and so do our other pups. If your dog has active fleas, first bathe in the shampoo and the put that collar on for up to 4 months. You and your dog will be relieved!

Our friends at Poquita Paws Rescue have a Goldendoodle momma and her 5 beautiful puppies that they rescued. Daddy is a poodle. These babies and their momma will be ready for adoption as soon as they are weaned. It is expected that they will all be about 60lbs when they are full grown. If you have questions or are interested call Cheryl or Kathy. Their numbers are on the flyer posted here and in our store.

Keep your dogs safe in heat with these recommendations from The Blue Cross Org in the UK.
1. Keep them hydrated. (Carry water bottles on walks.)
2. Walk them at cooler times. (Use booties if pavement is hot.)
3. Let your dog rest.
4. Use a paddling pool.
5. Provide cooling mats and ice packs. (We have mats!)
6. Use wet, cool towels.
7. Use cooling coats and collars. (We have . Trixie is modeling a cooling coat.)
8. Give them ice treats. (Our cooler is stocked with cold treats)
9.Play with cooling toys.
10. Use water misters and garden sprinklers.
11. Be careful of hot cars.
