Any donations would be greatly appreciated by the shelter and our kittens! 🐱 📍Location: 333 Chandler Pl, San Bernardino, CA 92408. 🕓Hours: Daily walk throughs from 11am-4pm with extended shelter hours until 6pm on Wednesdays. Meet Rhubarb! 🐾 (A566674) This sweet pittie was being bullied by her kennel mates and could no longer be housed with other dogs for her own safety. She needed to be taken out of the shelter environment. Later, a member of the public brought in 4 more, bringing the total to 12 puppies now under our care. Meet Toby A565554, a 2-year-old neutered terrier mix who’s ready to steal your heart! 💙 Toby is a joy on the leash, checking in with his handler and rarely pulling. He handled his bath like a champ, quickly becoming comfortable and relaxed! 🫧🧼 At a recent City event, Toby charmed dozens of people, sitting calmly by staff and wagging his tail excitedly when people petted him. In the car, he was the perfect passenger, relaxed and content. He was recently adopted back in June. The adopter said he was calm and appeared to be potty trained. Meet Brownie: THE KITTY WHISPERER! 🐾 He charms the kitties… and then gets a bit too friendly. 😅 Jokes aside, he's been perfect on a leash, friendly, and has good inside manners as an office foster pup! He waits to go potty until he is walked outside. 🚽 Unfortunately his owner has passed away and has been stressed. We are very grateful for our rescue partners. 🚨🐥 Duck Rescue Mission! 🐥🚨 Our Animal Services team sprang into action at the Vanir Tower to safely move these adorable ducks out of the fountain and onto the grass. 🌿🦆 It's important to remember that while we can help them find a safer spot, relocating ducks is not legal. 📢🚨 Over Capacity! We need your help!🚨📢 Our shelter is bursting at the seams with over 240 dogs and only 130 dog kennels. This means we're doubling and tripling up on medium to large dogs, and grouping several small dogs and puppies together to ensure everyone has a spot. This isn’t ideal for the dogs or for us, but it's our only option at the moment. These are all good dogs waiting for their forever homes, and we need your support to give them a better life. Here's how you can help (all found in the link in our bio): -Adopt: Adoptions are free now until May 15. Please note that we are asking for a $75 spay/neuter deposit for those who are not altered. - Volunteer:Come spend time with the dogs, walk them, and help with daily care. - Foster: If you can, offer a temporary home to a dog, giving them a safe space until we can find them a permanent one. - Donate: We need small blankets, towels,crates, and other supplies.
