** Wonderful Greyhound x needing home **

Willow is a 3-year-old greyhound mix (79% greyhound, and the other parts are Whippet, Wolfhound and Borzoi); she is a beautiful, spunky, energetic girl who loves to run and play. She likes other dogs and likes to play with toys—she could be an only dog as well (best with other large dogs). She is really personable and smart —she loves to cuddle. She does “tornado zoomies” and “talks,” and both are hilarious. Willow needs exercise to be at her best—ideally, she needs a home where her family loves to walk or run with her.  Once she’s expended her energy, she’s a love. She loves people, but cats, not so much.

These are 3 month old male Yakutian Laika. They are both friendly and have been socialized with dogs and people. They love to play and explore and are a moderate energy breed. This is a super rare breed in the United States so please do your research and see if this breed may be a good fit for your home. Rehoming fee applies. Latest Update: Our evacuation orders have been lifted! Ortega will be open to residents so today we start the clean up process. We have been without power for 6 days and have 4 refrigerators that are going to need some attention 🥴

We are currently without power and no ETA from Edison when we will be back online. Our plan is to utilize our two generators for power and we will evaluate when we can take dogs later this afternoon but our hope is to be able to take dogs again soon! We appreciate all the support and everyone’s flexibility with the situation 🐶🐾

Latest update: At the moment we are still off site, and they recently closed ortega again for residents due to the infrastructure repair they are doing. Currently the fire is no longer a threat. The issue now is the fire department is doing mop up and repairing power lines and guard rails. The ranch itself is safe but has no power and since we are on a well, no power means no water. Edison estimates power to be restored by the 15th. For those with upcoming reservations, we are suggesting everyone have an alternative accommodation for their dog as we have no definite time line for when we will be back up and running. It could be a day, a week, or more. We are taking it a day at a time and will post updates as we know more.
