This boy has endured endless cruelty and neglect, left battered and broken.

George has seen nothing but pain, suffering through endless cruelty that no living being should experience. His once-strong body is now bruised and broken, missing an eye—evidence of the horrors he’s survived. Every mark on his skin tells a story of unimaginable neglect.

His spirit is fading fast, and his days are numbered. George doesn’t have much time left. In this high-kill shelter, he’s only a few moments away from the fate that no one tried to save him from. Can you be the one to offer him a second chance at life?

Update: Oreo made it out of Baldwin!! Poor baby, cowers when you move towards her or reach toward her to hug ❤️. She’s afraid. She’s still very confused. She definitely has a lot of decompressing to do. But… she’ll make such a good companion and buddy to someone. She’s mellow. She just relaxes and observes. I love the calm ones! 💕. Oreo is up n for adoption looking for forever. ❤️

Jasmine is a wonderful dog needing a home of her own. She loves to play fetch, enjoys meeting new people and is a gentle girl. A volunteer writes: Jasmine is an enthusiastic and loving dog who is an absolute pleasure to spend time with. She was a perfect guest on Boroughbreak to my apartment last week. She was eager to explore my apartment, but able to entertain herself with toys while I worked from home. We spent some time in the backyard, where she showed off her fetch and treat-catching skills, as well as her knowledge of "sit" and "paw". We then headed off to the park, where her excellent leash manners were apparent; while she did get excited when she spotted a squirrel, she was friendly to everyone she met and unfazed by bicycles, people, and other dogs. Jasmine has a joy for life that's apparent from her big smile to her ever-wagging tail, and she's going to bring so much love and happiness to her next person or family!

My foster writes: Meet Jasmine, a delightful 5-year-old bundle of energy and joy! This spirited pup loves to stay active and is always ready for a game of fetch with her favorite red ball. UP FOR ADOPTION!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Meet Molly. Molly is around 2 years old. A lil poodle. We don’t know her exact age because she came from the house that was raided in Mexico because of animal abuse. Molly was one of the 6 dogs pulled from the home. (Yes, the owner was arrested). One of the worst abuse cases I’ve ever seen. This little girl is going to be spayed, microchipped and will be up to date on vaccines and will then be ready for her bestest forever home! Molly is sweet and most appreciative because she hasn’t had much in life but sadness and pain. Please consider opening your heart and home from this little bug. ❤️
