Dog Gift Wrapping! The first part of their presents arrived. They all got a new sweater. š¾Us spoiling them has zero correlation to us both crying before, during, and after Dragonās spay surgery. We worry.š„¹In my experience it used to be a first come, first serve situation for surgery. When I volunteered at Minnikota Paws - a local neuter and spay facility- we typically did small dogs. So I convinced Anthony to drop her off at the earliest time before work. We brought a blanket which they took with her, but they sent her transport kennel back home with us.šāš¦ŗAround noon, I was hoping she was coming to. Anthony called the veterinary clinic since I was teaching. They told us her surgery wouldnāt start until 1:00pm. ā° I understand bio security, but it broke my heart to think of her in a kennel for such a long period of time. Luckily she knows her blanket in a kennel means rest. We just donāt usually kennel them for more than 1 hour unless we arenāt home.ā¹ļø Iām grateful we discussed how we felt about kennels when we got Blu.
