Hey all! I just wanted to share with you all my new and improved Trach Savers that just came in! Tommy Stockstill and Amy Lynn Remy Ncg and their team have been hard at work cooking up new and improved designs to better serve our industry.

They were extremely prompt in communication, answering all my questions and assisting me to ensure I got the items I wanted.

The new Trach Savers are all 7mm thick and have the new crimped clamp design(24 points of hold instead of 8). They clip has been updated. They are also strength tested at about 242 pounds breaking strength.

I work house call and I HIGHLY reccomend these for any salon. I would not be able to complete my work without them as I work alone and these really are like having an extra pair of hands on an animal on the table as it makes them feel more secure and allows me to know they will not injure their necks should they decide to thrash.

I'm ao glad to have people in the business of developing tools that better our industry and help elevate our safety

No, you DON'T need to let your dog breed just once so that you can keep ONE of the babies.

Being a cooperative care dog groomer means having comprehensive knowledge and understanding of good handling skills 🐾

Tarz has a bad back that makes it difficult for him to stand during grooming. It's also very hard for him to lift a rear leg for his groomer to shave his back legs or tummy without support.

With physically capable and otherwise healthy dogs, most groomers will ask a dog to stand for the entire process and lift a leg up while standing so the groomer can easily reach all areas. ✂️

For Tarz, that's just too much to ask of him and causes him physical discomfort. In order to provide the most comfortable care for Tarz, his groomer has him sit on the opposite hip from the one his groomer needs and comfortably kicks out the leg his groomer is wanting to work on rather than standing for the process.

While it may be slightly more challenging for the groomer to work this way, the comfort of the dog in our care should always come first. Make sure your groomer has great handling skills and cooperates with your dog, rather than forcing dogs through painful and uncomfortable situations just to "get the job done" 🙌
