Working on a high level distraction area for a dog and putting them into abnormal situations can teach a pup to put a lot of confidence in you as the owner. Home Depot is just an example of the many places you can work a dog for this kind of training. (Would not recommend this if the dog does not have a good fundamental base of basic obedience inside the household)

💥This client’s dog that I am working is reactive to other dogs, especially at close range. It’s important to use your body to separate you and other dogs that get too close. This shows your dog that you have control of a situation and it teaches them to not react just because they are nervous about a situation. The dog should learn to trust your judgement and that is why it is extremely important to be a strong confident leader for your dog to look up to in order to make them feel safe.
