Nailing the work. Last one....
Distance the dog trainer shot the video isnt great to see he ran past 6 dogs here but everyone nailed their jobs.
First try...the last two dogs on leash trained moved a bit....so we kept at it...
Now run the gauntlet vs another dog...
Run the gauntlet between 5 other dogs. I was pretty proud here as you can hear. This reactive dog and the others watching all nailed it.
Train your dogs so the understand the difference between an actual threat and what's simply nothing to be concerned about. It takes effort and repetition to get here but you can do it....consistency and repetition is your best friend. Www.balancedogtrainingsd.com.
If your dog is afraid of something that isn't an actual threat...like a vacuum or a plastic bag or a broom. It's on you to help them to understand that they don't need to be afraid and it's not a threat.
I've spoken at length about Syd the Training Cat. Here he is working in the yard with a year old Rottweiler as he explains who's yard it is. Balance Dog Training San Diego

Denny Day 4 working with other dogs and distractions. Denny is looking great.
Based upon Dennys history we took it easy today and didn't really work new concepts. Just ensuring that he's playing well and getting along with others. If I don't have jeans and boots on, we aren't working very hard. Everyone deserves a rest day.

Down stay in the house unobserved when I clean the yard? Yeah because I asked. Unless you repeat this endlessly and allow the dog to know they are safe and so are you it's hard. It's usually quite a challenge. But once you nail.it, you get this!

Few of you suggested that those pics were taken close together in time. Actually one was last night. The other was today after they had breakfast. I had to go out back and clean up the leaves. I asked them to stay... the down stay work pays dividends.....
