Zoe update: Thanks for the prayers for her healing. On a medical level, she is stable and physically recovered from her two surgeries. Mentally, for the most part she's a happy, playful girl. But, we can see the brain damage. She is easily confused by things/people/animals around her, and unpredictable with her reactions & behavior to things that never bothered her before. I'm taking it one day at a time with her and delaying making big decisions as long as I can and just spending time loving on her.

Thank you to whomever sent me the books, I'd love if you'd message me if you're the book fairy so I can thank you directly.

It’s been a really difficult two weeks for me with multiple losses & sudden heartbreaks. Three weeks ago Zoe had a tumor removed which was found to be cancerous but we rejoiced with news of clear margins. Because doctors cannot guarantee cancer won’t be genetically linked I made the very painful decision to spay her & end my breeding line and program as it stands. It’s a tremendous loss, but I didn’t want anyone else to face cancer down the road with a puppy from her. Only 10 days later she needed emergency abdominal surgery, which was surgically successful. Unfortunately Zoe’s suffered some complications during surgery with lack of oxygen & her drs now believe she has some brain damage. It’s hard to know if this will be permanent or temporary. As you can imagine, I am heartbroken and I would greatly appreciate your prayers for healing for Zoe’s brain and for me as I manage this and other personal losses.

Happy 2nd birthday to our twins. Evie and Maverick!! These beautiful babies were from Lucy’s last litter born 4/3/21. Thanks to and family for loving Maverick & big sister Bailey!

Unfortunately I will be postponing breeding Zoe until hopefully Jan '23 & I won't have puppies this Fall. This has been a very hard decision, but my focus needs to be on my health right now. PM me if you'd like some referrals to wonderful breeders that have puppies. Or please consider foster/adopting from a local Lab rescue which seems to be overrun with dogs after the pandemic.

Hi frens, I scared Mom yesterday and had to spend the day at the vet, but my tummy is starting to feel teeny bit better now. Pray she let's me keep eating boiled chicken when I'm better. Love, Evie

Hi from (left-rt) Lucy, Zoe & Evie!
The last 2 months have been nothing short of a blur with family illness, so please forgive our long overdue post. Unfortunately while I was caring for my parents, I missed Zoe's season, so no puppies until next Spring. Evie is now 5 months old, 45lbs and loves the pool so much she's really more an otter! Lucy is settling into her retired life and enjoying watching her girls play.
