How fresh are my house flies when I get them? I get a shipment of 30,000 every week. That's right, every week! This is how they come to me. They dont really get much fresher than this right?
Once of the questions I often get is how many micro worms come in the tub. My answer is always, they're so tiny that I cant count them. Here is a little video to how you just how small they are why I cant count them. If you have used them before, you can attest as to how tiny these things are.
So the green mantis I rescued a few weeks ago is passing. I found her on the floor of the enclosure barely moving. I put her outside so she could get one last feel the wind and sun. I have her egg sac so I hope to have baby mantids in the spring. Rest easy Vera, I got it from here…
This is what a mite infestation looks like. For those of you squeamish, dont play the video. The story behind this bear is that it was shipped on 1/5 (I make all the bears the day they ship). It was returned to me today, 2/15 by the USPS as undeliverable. Who knows what happened to it enroute. Fort those that have never seen mites, these be them. The bear went right to the freezer for a day before it gets tossed. You can see the culture is still producing though.
