I am getting on my soapbox for a minute here. Please feel free to ignore this post.
I hope most of you know, this is not my main method of income. This is a passion project because of the terrible options out there from the large vendors. I also try to be fair and do what I can to make sure your critters have the food they need, even if it means I lose money. There are limits, however, that are there for a reason. I dont control what shipper delivers where. I have no control over how that shipping company delivers or doesnt deliver. This is not a ME problem, this is a YOU problem.
Folks, please understand that we, as sellers, don't have time to babysit your choices for shipping. We ship as you requested, when replacements are sent, they ship the same way you paid for them. I for one, will not eat the UPS 2nd day or overnight costs for a $15 order because the option you chose is wrong. That would be absolutely crazy! YOU as a buyer need to know whether a chosen shipment involves a carrier that does not deliver to your address. IF YOU CHOOSE GROUND THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES! PERIOD. IT'S CLEARLY MARKED ALL OVER THE SITE. If you dont like it, PLEASE take your business to a supplier that betters fits your needs. When you dont get what you want, dont threaten me with losing a customer. This is going to sound bad and if I lose customers over it, oh well. If you threaten, you will get what you give. Work with me and I will work with you. Your $15 or $100 order makes no difference to me. I do this for the critters and the critters that only need $15 worth of feeders are just as important to me as the ones that need $100 worth. I dont treat orders based on what they cost or who the person is or what relationship I have or dont have with them. Every order is important but if you are threatening me with losing a customer, please, go, find someone else. There are plenty of good suppliers out there.
